I highly recommend this place for none-Romanians as they have an international menu , great buffet for breakfast and the service is top notch .Prices are way affordable . Book in advance as this place it full all the time :)

El lugar es muy agradable y te hace sentir como en casa. Las habitaciones cálidas, cómodas, sencillas y acogedoras. La atención...como si nos conociésemos desde hace años, todo tipo de facilidades. En una frase: es lo que esperaríamos en cualquier recepción hotelera del mundo. Muchísimas gracias, Mariana???????????

Iulia Pension is situated in a quiet area with green space and close to the center of Bran, just 450 meters from Bran Castle and 3.3 Km from Zanoaga Bran ski area. The Pension has 5 double rooms, 4 twin rooms and 1 suite with 3 double rooms equipped with TV and central heating, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room for 25 people, game room (billiards, air hockey, foosball table), barbeque, ping-pong, garden of 2000 sqm, free parking.
Secure Parking when riding the roads near Bran
Reviewed By Dean-TravellerPensiunea Iulia is in a quiet location but only a short walk from Bran Castle and the restaurants of the town. There was no name plate for the pension but the address was clearly marked. There is courtyard parking behind a large locked gate for both bikes and cars and my bike was extra safe in a locked garage. Room size was fine with a good ensuite shower room and plenty of hot water. Everything was clean. There is a kitchen and lounge area for guests to share as well as outside seating. It was peaceful. The owner is so friendly and helpful that the lack of English was not a problem. We were able to communicate in French, but language really was not a barrier. Breakfast was typical of these parts with eggs, bread, fruit, cold meets and cheese. Plenty of food and coffee, served with a smile at a time of my choosing. Bran was a good spot for an overnight when exploring the great mountain roads in the area, including the Transfaragasan.

Amazing value all around
Reviewed By igal060357In all my travels this is the most lovely inn I have Stayed in. From My excellent room balcony I could see Dracula‘s castle. The furnishing in the lobby was fabulous . The hotel staff at the front desk and restaurant was very professional and friendly. The restaurant served tasty five star platters. If you are going to Bran this is a must place to stay!

Reviewed By JojoclearyIf I could give 10 stars I would. This hotel is hospitality at its best from the moment we arrived until we left. The owners are super friendly, the staff also & very efficient. We were upgraded to a suite with a view of the castle, outstanding. The cleanliness impeccable & everything you need provided in the bathroom. The food was delicious, choice plentiful, breakfast was like a banquet! The castle is across the road & everyone in Bran is friendly. We cannot recommend this hotel enough, thank you for a wonderful trip.

Only good thing was the location
Reviewed By Diane LWe were promised free parking but when we arrived we were told that the parking lot will be closed for the next 5 hours (they were cutting fire wood) and that we should pay to park on the street. The entrance to the hotel was through the restaurant (the other entrance is through the back) and the waitresses there hardly knew any English. Finally we were told to go to the back where the reception was. The receptionist was never there, we constantly needed to call her from the restaurant. I have to say she was nice enough to help us call our car rental place, but it was a pain looking for her when we needed her. The beds were very uncomfortable. The staff weren't friendly. All in all it wasn't a pleasant stay.

Reviewed By chetrarimarianaI had a lovely stay at Conacul Bratescu: accomodation very cozy and unique, the view is absolutely great, the rooms are very clean, the food is great, I did not want to try another restaurant around as here the food was amazing. Also, a very important aspect is that Bran Castle is only 500 meters away :). Radu Bratescu - the owner made us feel welcome as we were part of his family. Entire staff is very attentive and also very friendly with children. As this was a 4 day business trip, I am willing to spend some time there with my children as well. I do highly recommend this place, one of the few at this quality in Romania ( especially Bran area).

Stopover on trek across Bucegi Mountains

On our late arrival we were taken to the dining room where our meal was waiting while they arranged the rooms. Nice airy dining room. We had a set meal which was very pleasant and plenty. We were also given wine with our meal and a shot of local liquor. The rooms were very functional and clean and fresh. We realised we had a balcony which actually looked straight at Bran Castle, we were delighted. Good varied breakfast and good selection of meats and cheeses to make our packed lunch for our continuing hike. Approximately 5 minute walk from the town but easy access.
