Reviewed By RiogyulI visited Native Abode 5 years ago. This time I brought along 2 others persons with me. They were both wowed by the rooms, the treatment they recieved, the personality of the host, the breakfast. Mr Stein made us feel at home. I would surely be visiting again.

TERRIBLE.
Reviewed By Shaniah MSave yourself the burden of staying here. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Their guard threatened to put me out of the compound at 3AM! Because I was not wearing their band on one occasion, despite the fact that I WAS A REGISTERED GUEST (my name was logged at checkin) and even after having seen me for 3 nights straight on the compound. The bed sheets had stains and the apartment was filthy. I WILL NEVER RETURN! Don’t stay here unless you want unnecessary stress and dirty surroundings.

Not a pleasant stay
Reviewed By Karianne ZThe apartment itself and the apartment complex have all the potential to become a nice place to stay. However, it was still a construction site when my friends arrived (two weeks prior to me) and they had to ask the owner every day to come and finish up all the work before the rest of us arrived. The apartment is very sparsely furnished and I had to use the one bed to put all my toiletries on and clothes that I couldn’t fit in the one closet. The pillows were for decoration and not for sleeping. They were thankfully changed within a few days. However, the worst part was the lack of cleaning. We were told the cleaning lady would come every 3rd day but she only came twice during my two week stay. The owner didn’t seem to think it was his responsibility and blamed the cleaning lady. Unwilling to do anything about the situation. My friend who lived next door only got his apartment cleaned once. The owner was not particularly helpful at any time, and he acted threatening towards on of my friends when she confronted him with the bad service. Some of my friends also experienced money to disappear. In other words; I don’t recommend this place and I’ve been coming to Tobago for ten years and I know the island well. I’ve never had an experience like this here.
