Beachfront hotel, steps away from restaurants and shops
Reviewed By IonelaJoMaria Palace definitely exceeded my expectations. We had a two bedroom apartment - rooms are all very bright and spacious, sea-view from all the rooms (at least for our apartment), the beds are very comfortable. The living room is spacious as well, with a sofa, a coffee table, a mini fridge and also a dining table for four. The bathroom and shower area are very spacious and clean. Shower gel, shampoo and soap are offered, also a hairdrier in the bathroom. We had breakfast included - plenty of options to choose from.

Reviewed By ivanovichi2021This is the worst 3* hotel in Balchik - Rooms are tiny, General decor of the hotel is not guest centric. Food is a Nightmare - Breakfast is Disgusting. The Staff do not give a Fuk of the Guest whatsoever - The Owner is Russian as they spent money in certain areas of the hotel - but forgot it is a hotel and not their home. Rooms have zero soundproof - you can hear everything in the corridors Hotel is generally dirty - and bathroom doors are broken due to humidity from showers. balcony is not private and not cleaned The hotel is more interested in providing an itemised list of room content - so you do not break anything, rather than leaving a welcome note to the guest- We stayed for three nights and never again. We will go to the Paris Hotel down the road- its smaller, but the Owners are friendly and place is in good condition. The Spa - is terrible, not maintained, saunas do not work, changing room smelly, toilets dirty and staff not existing - They also do not open the Spa until the afternoon - just to save 5 leva - We paid 20 leva extra from the room rate - and it was a fkg waste of money - I will write to the local health ministry to do an inspection as the hotel is not clean and staff also do not wear Masks - although they advertise it !!!!

Reviewed By B9240WUbriancHighly recommend the ANTIK HOTEL ? in Balchik. Stayed 2 nights to relax and explore the local sea front promenade which has been very well upgraded for walking and cycling. It is probably one of the best promenades I have seen in the country. Hope they continue expanding it. HOTEL has easy access to the pedestrian area through minus 1 and through the restaurant or by exiting the main entrance and taking walkway beside hotel. Check in was perfect. Booked room with sea view. Well worth it. Large room with kitchenette and separate bathroom and shower. Nice balcony that shares with adjoining rooms of which was only 3 or 4. View fantastic. Motivates you to get out. Room clean. Bathroom and shower more than adequate. Water and essentials in room. Cups plates etc. Very good service for breakfast. Simple but plenty. Restaurant on promenade opposite restaurant well worth a visit. Service and food good. English well spoken and understood so u get food how you like it . Parked car at rear of hotel for 2 days free of charge. Parking in general in balchik can be limited if busy. The more popular it gets the harder to park. Arrive early is always my policy. Will definitely resist this hotel and cannot wait to explore more restaurants cafes and amenities on the promenade. Marina has nice potential. Slept well and good WiFi for working.

Reviewed By EddyVynckeWe booked one week in this place due to the online description and the beautiful location. We were disappointed because we did not get the appartement we booked. We appreciated they friendly proposed an other appartment , that did not correspond due to some technical aspect . The friendly manager gave us an other appartment but as the first one , the interior arrangment was not logic. The appartments dispose of a kitchen and a lot of seats , but no furniture next to the bed and no table in the appartment. Neither a working desk is available and the Wi-Fi did not work. We appreciated that the manager agreed with our proposal to stay only one night and cancel the rest of the week. The management is very friendly and helpfull , but the arrangment of the location do not correspond to our needs. Despite the fact that I am on holiday, I have proffesional obligations and need to communicate

Poor Customer Service

Pro's: Beautiful setting and stunning views Con's: Staff are rude and aggressive No idea of customer service, everything is a major hassle from them and they either say it or their body language says it! Food choice and quality is poor, menu does not change from Lunch to dinner. Breakfast was awful with cut fruit left out uncovered for flies to craw over. Service is so slow, and it will take over an hour from when you order your food to it being served, also you will get the food at different times meaning when one person has finished eating another has just started! attitude of the waiters was not adequate, we asked to add another table on so we could all sit together, and this was a major hassle to which in the end we had to do it ourselves. We also asked if they could make very small dietary changes to some menu items for children to which we were told no! Villas are outdated The resort is massive, but they stop running the buggies @ 2230 so you must either cut your evening short or walk back to your villa in the pitch black, some villas are a 25 minuet walk. The only light you have it from your phone. Beware there are snakes on the resort. If this is a 5 Star resort, I would hate to see what a 3 start looks like! My suggestion to BlackSea Rama is to employ a manager from Central Europe so come in and show how Customer Service should be done, this could be a nice resort, but it need some major changes. Would I go again- NO, Would I recommend it - NO

I arrived at the hotel in the evening, at 21:30, and I I found that the air conditioner did not work ..... and the reply from the receptionist was that “why I came so late beacause they cannot find a mechanic at this hour...” Although they said they would solve the problem with the air condition the next day and that they we will make s discount but none of them happened. The breakfast is a very poor one with poor quality products.

Reviewed By tif974Parc très joli et très bien entretenu avec une vue sur la mer à couper le souffle. Nous y sommes resté 2 heures. Seul bémol, sur le site un « palace » s’y trouve. Et à l’entrée, même si nous voulons visiter que les jardins, l’achat du ticket pour ce palace est obligatoire. 6l par personne… Le parking est payant 3l.

Great sea view with a swimming pool
Reviewed By MarulacciThe place is great value for money. Absolutely stunning view of the sea from the balcony looking east so if you are an early bird you can enjoy the sunrise. There’s also a nice, clean pool again with a view of the sea. Rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. Staff is super friendly and really makes a great effort to keep the place beautiful with a variety of flowers, trees, bushes that accompany the see view perfectly. Free parking and super close to a few small beaches and restaurants. There’s also breakfast included. The place is quite and perfect for families and has this close to the nature feel as the whole area does.
