Excellent place to recover after Ride The Classic sportive

Reviewed By X2726VOkenm

A group of us rode the "Ride The Classic" sportive from Monavea (highly recommended also!) and stayed in Lodge at the Old Barracks afterwards. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, Conaire our breakfast server was particularly good. We enjoyed recovery pizza and drinks in the attached Pizzeria, which was also delicious, and the breakfast was plentiful and quick. Couldn't fault a thing really.

Loved this hotel

This is such a beautiful hotel, we had the warmest welcome when we arrived and the owners and staff were so friendly and attentive. The rooms are spotless. The breakfast and lunch were delicious and the portions generous, we didn't have the pleasure of having dinner but the menu seemed to cater for all. I can't wait to try it on my return.

Relax and unwind at Caheroyan House

Reviewed By AnTeastalai

As a returning customer, I went back to Caheroyan House after about two years since my last visit. The House has now reopened to guests and there is no doubt it meets all anti-Covid standards. I found my room to be as nice and comfortable as it was before the pandemic. While any non-necessary items (guest directory and informative booklets) have been removed, other items - from tea and coffee servings to the TV remote - are duly wrapped. Social distancing is taken very seriously, with guests invited to pre-book their breakfast time. Everything else is what it was: the silence of rooms, the beauty of the countryside around the House, the taste of Barbara's impeccable breakfasts, including full-Irish, continental and vegetarian options. Whether on your way to or from the hustle and bustle of Galway City, make sure you stop at the House to relax and unwind amidst the quiet serenity of the fields of Athenry. John and Barbara will take good care of you.

Psycho film

Reviewed By travelling801

If you are fan of psycho film is your perfect place! The decorated is exactly the same.. The owner of the place is a old woman, she is nice person, but the place is old and dirty... Too much cobweb, here in Ireland the spiders are pet animals. Other thing is..the owner asked us, when we prefer take a shower...at night or un the morning? You can't have hot water 24h...you need yo decide! That was horrible!!!!! I don't recommend this place!
