Little gem on lovely island
Reviewed By 643CharlotteDAaaahhhh. Heleni Studios is wonderful! Nice and clean. We had an apartment with seperate bedroom. Shower was strong and warm and fixed to wall ?. Great for lunch too! The town has nice tavernas within walking distance. Finiki is a 15 minute walk too! Go and you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous Hotel and Amazing Staff
Reviewed By Keith HWe were greeted on arrival by Anastasia who was helpful, warm and friendly. Our apartment was modern, large, well-equipped and beautifully furnished. The pool is large and well maintained and is a great alternative to the beach on days when it is windy. The nearby St Nicolas Beach is is a good size sandy beach with a bar, sunbeds and shallow crystal-clear water. We were surprised how few British tourists visit this beautiful island due, we assume, to the lack of direct flights from the UK. It is well worth the ferry journey or short flight from Rhodes and is one of the only islands which we plan to re-visit. There are several excellent Tavernas in Arkasa village which is a pleasant 15 minute stroll from the hotel. Hiring a car is a must (we used United in the village who were excellent) in order to see the island and, in particular, Olympos in the north. We would not hesitate to return to The Royal Beach as our holiday there was wonderful and our thanks go to Andreas, Sofia, Anastasia and Lola (plus the cats & kittens) for making it even more memorable. Relaxing holiday with great hospitality
Reviewed By Elina VIf you are looking for a place to relax, this is the place to be. Spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen, big verandas, modern minimal design and owners that simply cannot do enough to please you. Great location to visit southern beaches. I was glad this place did not have a swimming pool, because it was always quiet - and nearby beaches are fantastic anyway. I cannot think of a nicer place to stay, was very sorry to leave and can't wait to go back.

An oasis of peace and relaxation

We arrived on april 29 and there she was, Maria from Arkasa Palace, she gave us the most warm welcome! The boutique hotel was beautiful with a warm,modern and luxurious feel to it. Breakfast was a small party every morning with delicious products and home made items. Throughout our stay Maria was always there to answer questions, talk about our day trips and give ideas about the ‘must sees’ and provide the guests with the best of service. The Island of Karpathos is full of beauty, friendly people and amazing food. Our expectations have been exceeded, in spite of the weather conditions. Highly recommended by us for a peaceful, relaxed vacation with a touch of magic, both Karpathos and Arkasa Palace!

Reviewed By o0meow0oThe staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We got car rentals, taxis, suggestions, medicines, anything we asked for, they would arrange in a few mins. The room is really spacious, comes with a kitchen and a sea view balcony. The ac gets really cold, so turn it off before going to bed and open the window for fresh air. Wifi runs smooth for the most part but might get choppy in the rooms when the hotel is full. Works fine in the common area. The location is perfect. Restaurants, beach, supermarket and ATM in walking distance. Highly recommend Sweet Time (2min walk) for breakfast!

Popi & her family are super friendly and go over & above what one would normally expect of your host. The complex has a lovely garden and is peaceful & calm. An oasis. The rooms are basic but spacious. The beds comfortable. The apartment was regularly cleaned throughout our stay. We recommend the breakfast buffet. Everyday something new. Popi & her husband are very helpful in choosing the right beaches for the children. Turquoise waters, sand & calm - or a little bit more waves at one of the house beaches (a short walk). Kids loved it as not too deep. The small town of Arkase has everything you need. Supermarkets, restaurants, bars, ATM, car hire (recommended - Popi will help here too). Then there’s the Greek food. An abundance of good restaurants. Not to mention the friendliness of everyone you will meet. A big thank you..xx

Great place!
Reviewed By Dirving22I just checked out after staying a week here. It is a great place to stay. Very clean and cleaner comes in everyday. The owner (« Capt. Mike ») is very friendly and helpful. Gave me tips on places to see and extended my check out time so I could have an enjoyable last day. The location is great-very quiet and less than half a km from a beautiful Sandy beach. There is a surf shop at the top of the road and restaurants nearby.
