The sound-proofing in room was excellent despite the loads of guests staying during the same period as I did. The location is central enough with a 7-11 just a block away, a couple of cafes next to it, seaside & bus station are just 10-15 mins walk away. For breakfast, try order their 生煎包 as your choice. The serving size is huge and the taste & texture are lovely.

Reviewed By BayjbStayed one night before heading out to Green Island. Overall I would recommend the hostel and stay again. Beds are full mattress and very comfortable, good air con in the room too. Bathrooms are big and clean. Breakfast is very good for a hostel, honestly it was some of the best iced coffee I’ve had. Staff was helpful in sorting out my Green Island ferry (do research before arriving, I didn’t and should have!) and called me a taxi to head to the ferry. Night market is nearby, it’s okay, but good local food is near the hostel as well. Easy to walk around. The only downsides are that the hostel is tall and narrow so there are lots of stairs and it’s only air con’ed in the main lobby and rooms, so it gets incredibly hot in common areas and bathrooms. The female dorm is also quite small for a 6 bed so there is no real luggage space, which when they room is full, can be very very snug.

Reviewed By tzuxiangcI stayed here for two nights between my trip of Green Island and Orchid island. I chose her because they have curtains around the bed so that gave me good privacy. One bathroom inside the backpacker room provided shampoo and shower gel, overall the place was spacious and clean. Breakfast was self service with drinking fountain, coffee, bread, jam, peanut butter, juice. We are allowed to use the oven and microwave to make a more fancy dish. Washer was free and there was space to hang out clothes outside. It’s a well-planed hostel with everything I needed as solo traveler. Had two great nights of sleeping there!

Reviewed By Elisa DIts like a magical kingdom for us.we waited for the night show.it was so beautiful,awesome.the lights and the sounds and the super trees with the marina baysands on the back absolutely beautiful.the garden itself is so huge we were lost a couple of times.gatdens alone is so beautiful, many spots to look around.can also rent a bike ,satay by the bay offers all sors of native foods at affordable prices. We would certainly go back there.

No soundproof but nice location
Reviewed By travelogue_voyageRoom is clean. It is just next to Tie Hua village, I basically visited there every day during my stay. Right next to bus station so it's convenient to stay in this hotel. The buffet breakfast is nice and tastes like home dishes. But, the room is not soundproof. I heard dog barks every midnight.

Reviewed By songlinesPROS: Wonderfully friendly hostess - her English is limited but Google translate made it easy to communicate Less than 5 minute walk from train station Less than 5 minute walk to e-bike scooter rental place (you can rent these e-bike scooter to get around the city if you don't have Taiwanese license) Strong wi-fi, clean building & room Highly recommend you rent e-bike scooter, bicycle, or motorbike to explore Taitung. Or take bus from train station. Great to use this guesthouse as base to take train or bus to visit surrounding attractions.

Great experience
Reviewed By Janto RStayed for 3 nights in the Dawn Of Torat. First of all the room and bathroom are both great. Amazing shower and the bed was fine. What made this place special was the hospitality of the staff. Free pickups from and to the station and great tips on what to do and where to go.
