For your comfort we are located in the neighborhood of the Renaissance, a prime area of the city between the historic center and urban beaches and even closer the Jansen Lagoon, the point where good restaurants are concentrated, bars, beach soccer, tennis, biking, walking track and skate practice. We were in an area of easy movement with bus stop within 50 meters, near the bakery, pharmacy, banks, office buildings, universities and shopping malls. We offer female, male and mixed rooms, plus a suite with double bed with TV and private bathroom.

Friendly staff
Reviewed By balamuruhanThis is in the centre of historic town. Good location for exploring the boi. The staff are friendlty. They don't speak English, which is not unusual for Brazil. We stayed here for 3 nights. During the first stay the beds were reallyhard and unconfortable and the toilet door wouldn't work. Not ideal! The room we were given for the second stay was better. There is a simple breakfast which does run out depending on the time.

Our Bed and Breakfeast is located in a noble area of São Luís. The place is safe and calm. In front of the sea and with an incredible view of Bahia de São Marcos and Avenida Litorânea. It is close to the main restaurants and sights of the city. Access to the hostel is easy by car (15 minutes), Uber (R $ 25,00), bus (R $ 2.90) or taxi (R $ 60,00). Our beds are new and fluffy as well as sheets, pillows and towels. The cleanliness is always impeccable and we strive to always be in readiness to well meet the needs of travelers. There is also a kitchen available for guests with everything they need to cook. Our Breakfast is well served and we still have a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea, where friends can enjoy the natural beauties of São Luís.

Nice suite rooms!
Reviewed By melanierinWe stayed in the 4 bed suite, which was great for our group! The room had air conditioning and a private bathroom. The hostel even provided towels, which is such a great plus! The breakfast was extensive, and they let us partake in breakfast the day we arrived at 6am, which was very appreciated! We enjoyed being there on a Sunday to take advantage of the great feira nearby. The staff helped us book transfers to Barreirinhas and let us store luggage after check out.

Reviewed By _1985_fmartinsI loved volunteering at New Friends Hostel. Patricia and Junior are great hosts. They are very kind and friendly. The hostel is well located, clean and comfortable. I felt like at home and I hope I can come back someday.

Box do banhiero não há porta/cortina, quando toma banho molha todo o banheiro. Chuveiro não esquenta muito (fica ruim para tomar um banho cedo)

Reviewed By 949isabellanO hostel é sujo. longe de tudo. nao tem nada perto. nunca tem ninguem na porta. o lugar é tao mofado que fede, todas pessoas que conheci la foram embora porque nao aguentaram o fedor. as paredes sao amarelas e o chao é bem sujo tambem. conheci 3 pessoas que tambem foram embora por causa da sujeira e do fedor. ele faz maior esquema pra nao fazermos reservas pelo booking, pra nao ter nenhum comentario negativo depois. os quartos sao SUPER mal ventilados entao fica super quente impossivel de dormir a noite. e o mofo. as paredes sao amarelas e o chao também. quam faz a faxina sao as voluntarias e voluntarios que trocam uma cama por trabalho o que é irresponsavel visto que ainda estamos numa pandemia e higiene é sempre bem vinda num lugar aonde passam varias pessoas por dia. me senti enganada e nao consegui meu dinheiro de volta. essa pessoa sai impune e os cliente se ferram. enfim, acho muita sacanagem todo mundo sair do hotel pelo mofo e ele pegar o dinheiro de todo mundo.
