Not quite it though, but the place is clean and modern, I think the nicest modern hotel in a hundred kilometer radius. The restaurant is excellent, accommodating to vegans, the breakfast is very good and the woman who was maitre de was sweet and helpful. And Kudos to Flávia Maria for voicing her concern over a very small issue…. These people seem to care about their patrons and deserve the business.

Reviewed By Maria Ane DI like so much EcoBox hostel because even you are in a hostel you are in a single box, you have space to lock your stuff, you have some privacy like your own light. It's close to downtown and you can move easily there. People are nice there! I like so much wall paintings and chess game in the living room (I like chess).

Good low-cost hostel
Reviewed By Sergio SMy stay at this hostel was very good. The staff was very helpful in every doubt that I had but they could have a little more knowledge about the local area since they live there. The breakfast was quite good with good variety of food. The place is close to the main beach but you have to use a car or in a mood to walk more than 45 min to get to the touristic spots. Comparing to other brazilian hostels this one only loses for the rates that they have.

Reviewed By NbkansalThe hotel is a terrible place to live. Not upto mark for being a hotel. Don’t trust the photographs displayed. undoubtedly whole hard work is done on breakfast. After so much of disappointment on entering the room i got a surprise of dirty water in the washroom tap and shower which was supposed to be hot and clean in such a freezing weather but the staff told there is some problem with the system which will take 30 min to get fixed but it took 2 hours and spoiled our plan.

Perfect Bed&Breakfast
Reviewed By assoskanaryaYou get what you hoped for and then some. All staff are very helpful and sincere. Elaine and Nikole were there all the time and very friendly and professional at the same time. The place is a perfect haven near city centre and the beach with swimming pool, lovely rooms, underground parking lots and delicious breakfast with loads to choose from. Whenever I go back to Garopaba in future I’ll always have to stay at La Plage but nowhere else.
