Sleep in a rural setting in the middle of fairytale Odense! Only two kilometers from the center of H. C. Andersen's birthplace and eight minutes drive from the motorway you will find Danhostel Odense Kragsbjerggaard. The hostel is housed in an old manor house, originally built in 1747 and has since been renovated and modernized several times. However, the charm is preserved and if you like the combination of city life and great outdoors, Danhostel Odense Kragsbjerggaard is the perfect place to stay.

Reviewed By danishwillI have nothing but the highest praise for the new owners, staff, and facilities at Kragsbjerggaard. I called in late for a last-minute room and received gold star treatment. Co-owner Kate was so friendly and accommodating, as well as the other staff. The room was very clean and comfortable, as were all the common areas. The breakfast was quintessential Danish: very pleasing to the eye and delicious. It is a lovely facility and the new owners have done a wonderful job of restoring and updating this beautiful site. It is convenient to downtown Odense and yet very quiet and accessible to the countryside. If you want a great experience in Danish culture, hospitality, and comfort, I can recommend no place better than this. If I return to Odense in the future, which I would love to do, I will definitely stay at Kragsbjerggaard. I highly recommend Kragsbjerggaard to individual travelers, families, organizations looking for a wonderful meeting facility, and businesses looking for a comfortable place for their traveling representatives to stay.

Reviewed By MajmillaVisited femmasteren 1 minutes before closing time. We where very hungry and instead of turning us away, they gave us excellent service and lovely food, coffee and dessert in no time. The place have a lovely danish summertime atmosphere and the Island is a must visit in Denmark

Danhostel i Kerteminde er et smukt vandrehjem, som er placeret i et skønt grønt område omgivet af skov og park. Ydermere ligger vandrehjemmet tæt ved Kertemindes børnevenlige strand, og der er kun 10 minutters gang ind til byen. Der er rig mulighed for afslapning samt at lave forskellige aktiviteter på vandrehjemmet. Der er blandt andet mulighed for at spille bordtennis, skak samt grille i vores skønne gårdhave midt i skoven.
Nice and clean - great breakfast
Reviewed By panelle2018It is a simple place, nothing extra, but nice and clean. We had a family room and had a good nights sleep. However, we could here conversations in the other rooms and the pipes were noisy when others tooks showers... There was a very nice breakfast.

Danhostel Odense City is situated in the former Park Hotel next to Odense Banegårds Center, with views of Kongens Have. There are bus connections to all of Odense’s attractions, sports facilities, educational institutions, etc., several times an hour. There are trains to Copenhagen and Århus every half hour. Odense Danhostel City has 4 storeys with lift. There are 39 rooms with 2, 3, 4 and 5 beds. All rooms have en-suite shower and toilet.

Clean and nice hotel/hostel
Reviewed By Ragnar DThis was probably the 3rd or 4th time I stayed here. It is a fairly simple hotel/hostel but clean and nice. You get the material to make your own bed. You can choose to have breakfast and it is very good. For me, the location was perfect as I visited friends about 300 m away. It is an 11 minutes´ walk from the train station.

The food is high quality and as a many year vegan it’s often hard for me to get decent food when I’m out and around in Denmark. This place created some awesome food for me and my colleague, most of it organic, even gluten-free options at the breakfast - so the kitchen master sure goes full in for serving quality food for its customers. Everything is practically new so the place is in good and clean condition. Highly recommend.

Reviewed By 56allanlMin kone og jeg var på turisttur på Fyn, grundet Corona. I første omgang valgte vi stedet Fyrtårn Tommerup Hostel, fordi vi kun skulle have et overnatningssted. Og med det som udgangspunkt, fik vi langt mere end hvad vi havde forventet, som overskriften antyder. Morgenmaden var god og varieret, men det der var mest slående var personalets venlighed/gæstfrihed, som smittede af på de øvrige brugere af Motionscenteret, som også hilste på os, som om vi var stamgæster. Alt hvad vi mødte, var præget af en atmosfære af tilfredshed. Selv om vi ikke brugte motionscenterets faciliteter, var det ret omfattende og bestod af flere forskellige tilbud. Selv en svømmehal. En ihelt usædvanlig og positiv oplevelse var rengøringsdamen der gjorde rent om morgenen, hvor vi spiste morgenmad. Hun var utrolig hjælpsom, også med at fortælle om Fyn generelt, og om hvor vi kunne tage hen. Men det var hendes varme personlighed, der gjorde udslaget. Skønt sted med dejligt værtspar
Reviewed By Hannah HDejligt bed and breakfast, fantastisk morgenmad, skøn udsigt, dejligt værtspar. Vi vender tilbage om og om igen når vi lige skal “lade op”. Derudover ligger stedet med udsigt til lystbådehavn og havet. Dejlig atmosfære. By tæt på, ja, .....man kan ikke nævne noget negativt.

Nice, clean and silent
Reviewed By Malou MWe had a good time staying one night at Nakkebølle. The rooms are well lighted up with a great window towards to the great, beautiful garden of Nakkebølle. The beds are very good and so is the breakfast. You get what you pay for at the room. The toilets are old and you the hostel feeling at them.
