The best available Condos to stay near Sopot

May 2, 2023 Venice Greaves

The smallest of the Trójmiasto (Tri-Cities), the Baltic Sea spa town of Sopot is smack between Gdansk and Gdynia, just a few miles from each. A retreat for the rich and royal for centuries, Sopot’s exclusive air remained even through the Communist era, and the tony town has undergone a building boom in recent years. Boasting beautiful beaches and ritzy resorts, Sopot is also known for its Wooden Pier (the longest in Europe), the lovely mid-woods Forest Opera and lively Monte Cassino Street.

Cosy, comfortable & hospitable

Reviewed By Wio_Gur

Thanks to professional team of My Story Sopot my sister could spend lovely birthday weekend at the Polish seaside. We enjoyed cosy atmosphere of this boutique hotel, delicious breakfast, very flexible, always polite, staff. Hotel is nicely designed, extremely clean, a lot of attention was payed to details. It is perfectly located: close to the sea, park and the center of Sopot but in the same time “far” from noisy points of the city (which might me an advantage in peak season). Highly recommend. We will definitely try to come back.

Cozy boutique apartment hotel with great pool and jacuzzi

Reviewed By pdjroberts

My fiancee and I recently spent three nights here and we both had a fabulous time. From check in to check out the staff were all very friendly and helpful (particularly the ladies that serve you breakfast in the morning). We stayed in apartment 3 which is on the first floor, it has a kitchenette / dining area, two reasonably sized bedrooms and a long balcony with comfortable chairs and a couple of tables. The swimming pool is not very big, but sufficient for three or four people to swim in whilst maintaining social distancing. We generally found that there were only a couple of other people in the pool area and most would use the jacuzzi or sauna, if we were in the pool and vice versa. Breakfast is served until 11 a.m. on the top floor of the hotel block with table service (due to the COVID restrictions). You have a choice of three, very tasty breakfasts, Polish, English or French followed by dessert (typically cheesecake or pancake). We tried all three and typically shared an English and French or Polish breakfast between us. The English breakfast consists of 2 fried eggs, baked beans, mushrooms and Polish sausages. The French breakfast is French toast with a selection of cold cuts, cheese and croissants etc. The Polish breakfast is scrambled eggs, cream cheese with radish and spring onion. The hotel and apartments are around a fifteen minute walk from the main railway station and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. Our favourites was Blekitna Fala (right on the beach, which is only a few minutes walk away). Overall we had a fabulous stay and we will definitely return. Our only negative comment would be that the exterior of the hotel and apartments look a little scruffy. Whilst others have complimented the sun loungers, personally we found the idea of lying on a sun lounger in the car park, far from desirable.

Great location but not virus safe

Reviewed By abcdefghiytfffhdsf

Brilliant location and nice room and facilities but too virus friendly. E.g. - Minimal mask-wearing. From my experience staff wear masks for fewer than half of customer interactions and when they do they sometimes wear them loosely or covering only the mouth. For example we returned to our room to find two members of staff cleaning it. One had no mask and the other wore hers loosely over her mouth. They didn't correct this when we entered. Overall it appears to be up to individual staff members whether they wear masks. - Staff (masked and unmasked) often stand closer than two metres to customers when talking to them. - Several communal doors require opening with hand. - Breakfast drinks are on a buffet type table forcing guests to touch items and surfaces touched by other guests. I observed no sanitising equipment at breakfast. - The hotel promised an email pre-arrival with information to minimise duration of check-in but this did not arrive. Management is failing in its duty of care to customers by not doing enough to protect them from COVID-19. Staff are pleasant and helpful and breakfast is good.

Small and modest place but all what you need for a short stay

Reviewed By Kaur K

We stayed in Sopot Loft with my wife mid May 2016 for one night. Room was booked online, everything was set up for us according to the agreement, we did not even meet the owners or administrators. Room is in a renovated building. Room was clean and equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Only negative side was a railroad that is behind the bedroom window, so if you happen to be extra sensitive to noise from outside the room may not be for you. For us it was perfectly OK.

We were pleasantly surprised when we got the most amazing service from the staff that were so kind and understanding. Everything went very smoothly and we really appreciate that they were so quick to respond back to us. We will definitley book Sanhaus Apartment when it's safe to travel abroad again, hopefully next year! Thank you Sanhaus Apartments!

comfortable apartment

Reviewed By Voorburg_Holland

Our apartment was on the ground floor of a residential building in Haffnera street. It took about 10 min on foot to the pier and 15 min to the train station. The apartment was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. There was a kitchenette, with a fridge, cooker and microwave. Because it is an old building it was pretty noisy; we could hear the people in the other apartments well. There is no staff on site, but entering the apartment on the first day was not that difficult: On the day of arrival we got a text message about how to get the key of the building and room (it was in a safe in the same building). Parking is on the street (paid; free on weekends).

Great place for a night in Sopot

Reviewed By pieskapek

Very clean and spacious apartments, great localisation and a nice host. In the room you can find most needed items you could forget and also there is an access to a kitchen where you can find tea or coffee. Prize is not that high for a spot in the center of Sopot with a free parking. Will definitely come back again!
