The Residence Happy Days, recently built, disposes of new & confortable apartments from 2 to 5 peoples, for a total of 70 places bed.All the apartments are indipendent and distribited on 2 floors, surrounded by a beautiful garden.Easy access to Tropea, only 10 km. from the Residence, and the enchanting "Beach of Grotticelle", reachable by foot.

Reviewed By winbo69What can I say? Fantastic pasta and pizza (my pasta with chilli and garlic was phenomenal - even my carnivore husband loved it). The service was great, really helpful and the surroundings were pretty too.

The campsite Our campsite is situated at the bottom of the suggestive cliff of Capo Vaticano, in front of the splendid sight of the Aeolian Islands. Our structure is provided with 30 hot and cold showers, 30 toilette washbasins, 30 dishwashers, 10 laundry-type washing machines and 2 industrial washing machines, available for our guests. The campsite includes an area of 30.000 square feet including 300 places for campers, roulottes and tents, and they are all few meters far from the wonderful beach and the crystal clear water of the Tyrrenean Sea. village For the ones who prefer a more comfortable overstay, our village is provided with 30 semi-detached apartments that have 1 or 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen with fridge, stoves and appliances and a living room. Reviewed By kateesha9What a wonderful discovery on our first night. This is the perfect place for a sunset dinner. Francesco, the head server took care of us - we were served several specialties of the region meanwhile watching the Stromboli volcano lava stream across the ocean!!

Poor service and pasta was not fresh
Reviewed By sarahcX7332KTDespite the food having some nice flavours, you could tell the pasta was not fresh. The tomato penne dish was ok at best. However the biggest upset for my husband and I was the service. Not to say that the staff were rude per say, but we were constantly waiting for someone to serve us, whether it was for water, our dishes or even the bill (which I had to ask twice for, the second time I had to get up from the table to approach them). Now they were busy, yes, but that was not the problem. At least, it didn't seem to be an issue for the customers who were actually Italian. Everyone was being served before us, to the point where several people who arrived after us were served, had paid and left before we had even received our dishes. Not a great dinner experience.

Reviewed By Debra BIf you want luxury not for you. Nice clean, if you don’t speak Italian you’ll need translate on your phone. Breakfast pastry’s nice enough. Swimming pool empty most of the time nice loungers. Not a lot of staff around so have to wait for someone to come to bar to get a drink. Didn’t use restaurant. You’ll need a car bit out of the way. Air conditioning extra charge per day so is housecleaning. Did not say this in write up of hotel. ok as a base but if you want more than that not for you.

Reviewed By federicabenussiSiamo stati ospiti di questa struttura qualche giorno, ci siamo trovati molto bene. La signora Maria è il signor Antonio sono molto gentili e disponibili. Un piccolo problema con l’aria condizionata è stato tempestivamente risolto, l’appartamento era pulitissimo, gli arredi nuovi e confortevoli.

A night spent without sense
Reviewed By Yannis1997A medium-level, simple accommodation. It was not so clear. There is no view. There is no wifi in the main place. The location is not so good. Parking was free. The hostess was nice and kind. The use of the washing machine was in charge. Expensive for the services that it offers.Not recommend it.

Reviewed By Marija76I stayed in Residence Esmeraldo for ten days at the beginning of July and I am satisfied. The good sides of the hotel are food, which was delicious, as well as very professional service in the restaurant. The room was very clean and nice. This hotel is situated only several minutes away from the beach, but I preferred other beaches in the area. My critique goes to the reception staff who either don't understand you or do not give you the right information and seem rather uninterested. Still, all the most important things in the hotel are done very professionally.
