World-famous gastronomy and fine wines provide the perfect complement to the country's alpine views and architectural masterpieces.

A great place for a family vacation

Reviewed By studzinna

We spent a long weekend there with our two kids (8 & 5 yo). We liked the clean house, the activities organized for the kids (while they were at the kid's club, we could chill and read), the activities for adults (I enjoyed yoga seances), the swimming pool with salty water. The breakfast (included in the offer we've had) was ok. The food (lunch, dinner) at the camping was nice, however the prices were quite high. The 3G doesn't really work there, and we had to pay extra for Wi-Fi, which we thought a bit ridiculous in this day and age. The beach is a 20 minutes walk through a forest. Some other (paid) activities near by (mini golf, surfing school, horses).

Great facilities for kids with water slides, parks and an indoor pool. Close to town and you can walk it in about 20 minutes. Majority of the people on the site were French in fact we were the only British. Staff were friendly and helpful. They all spoke perfect English. Charlotte was really helpful when I had a problem with my car and she arranged for me to get to a local garage. I couldn’t explain rattling noises on the brakes in French! Great location and we were able to visit the whole of the Vendee from this location. We had a great time. Thanks!,

wonderful and with a strong ethos

Reviewed By Malayah H

This is a unique, eco friendly stay. The accomodations is quirky and peaceful. I love the fact that the environmental ethos ran through everything the owners did. This is not a gimmack. From the fresh water swimming pool, to the recycling and the sourcing of local product. The breakfast croissants were local and among some of the best I had in france....the masseuse was phenomenal (though book in advance). The whole stays was refreshing it was really close also to bike paths castles etc.

One night stargazing in a tree bubble

Reviewed By AmeliaB0309

I spent one night in a transparent bubble placed in the trees. The experience was magical. The bubble was very convenient; we had the option of removing the top completely, leaving only the transparents plastic layer, or keeping both the opaque layer and the transparent layer. The ventilation system was also very nice (there is a mosquito screen). I would recommend, it was a great experience!

Friendly welcome and nice surroundings

Travelling with two kids and my wife, we enjoyed this location immensely. The reception lady was friendly and tolerant of my awful french. The location is pretty and great for kids with a pool, mini farm and activities on site. We stayed in a caravan which was snug and warm with a heater left on for us. They even offered to upgrade us so we had a kitchen, which was nice. Would return again.
