I stayed at the Norther Light Resort & Spa for 4 nights and I felt I was at home. All the staffs are super nice and professional. We stayed at the glass chalet and the view is amazing. Although we didn't get to see the northern light due to snow and cloud, we had amazing time. The foods are delicious and healty. After I came back from the trip I received the pictures :). I want to send 10000x thanks to Lynn and Toby and the staff members.

Beautiful little motel in Haines Junction that will NOT disappoint!!

This motel is amazing. It’s spacious, extremely clean, and the kitchenette is stocked with make-your-own breakfast items, such as eggs, English muffins, oatmeal, cereal, & coffee. And a view of the snow-capped mtns! The bed was super comfortable, which meant a great night’s sleep for us! There’s a little supermarket about 1/2 mile down the street and a laundromat a block away (the one directly across the street is closed).

Stardust Motel

Okay if you're road weary

Reviewed By missrose327

My first complaint is the noise level. I was very aware of the people in the next room as the floors groaned loudly with every step they took. Same with my room, no matter how gently I moved about my room. Creak! Groan! Yikes! The bed was old and uncomfortable and the sheets were worn and "pilled". Even the mattress pad was terribly thin and tired, as were the towels. Yuck. For the price, I expected more... at least a decent mattress and sheets! Time for an upgrade, Stardust!

Inn On The Lake

Born and raised in the Yukon, Carson Schiffkorn was familiar with Marsh Lake since early childhood. Intrigued by the mystery of the empty log structure standing on the edge of the lake, Carson stepped in one day and knew immediately that he had found his place. It was 1996 and after one year of hard work to transform the vision into reality, the lonesome building became an inn with a "Rustic-Chic" feel of its own. The impressive log structure gets its very unique character from its cathedral ceiling and expansive deck areas overlooking Marsh Lake; and equally from the jaunty ambiance inside highlighted by its massive timbers of Engelmann spruce. An accomplished chef, Carson finds his inspiration in the lodge atmosphere, where guests share the same menu and table. Regularly, visiting chefs from all over the world bring a cosmopolite note during hosted special events, where local flavours are infused with cultural and culinary differences. Over the years Inn on the Lake has hosted a number of wonderful guests and was featured on Martha Stewart Living. Canada's Governor General and artists such as Jann Arden have been among the guests.

Wonderful place to enjoy what the Yukon has to offer

We had a great stay at the Inn on the Lake from Feb 17-21. We enjoyed the spacious and well appointed rooms, the delicious meals and the view of the lake. The staff is so gracious and helpful. They arranged for us to go dog sledding, figuring out how we could fit this in while also seeing the start of the Yukon Quest. We enjoyed snowshoeing from the place, a wonderful trail just across the street. The lake has a trail plowed to either walk or use fat bikes. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. We had high expectations and they were exceeded.

Not Clean

Reviewed By TimC8417

The room had not been swept or mopped in some time. There was human/dog/cat/synthetic hair/fur all over the sheets, pillows and the floor in the bedroom and bathroom. Additionally, a pill, of some type was found on the floor and the bed skirt had large stains. The room is hot, even with the outside temperature less than <60/15.6 degrees. The internet is beyond slow, almost to dial-up speed, so slow it is virtually unusable and I was the only one on the system. The outside has not had it’s spring cleaning so it looks shabby. On the bright side, the employees were friendly and very helpful. Pictures available.

We stayed at the Ravens Inn for a few days while we waited for the birth of our first born son. We stayed in the one bedroom suite which was pretty nice. The only thing I would say -which I say about 98% of the places I’ve stayed at- is the bed was a bit hard for my liking. Aside from that it was a great place to relax and eat food that didn’t arrive in a plastic container. I would definitely recommend the suite and hotel to anyone who wants a bit better than average when it comes to accommodations in Whitehorse.

Went through Trivago searched for pet friendly Trivago showed no rooms available in Whitehorse but this lodge Kaleido Lodge Yukon.. I checked the search for pet friendly. We drive from Fairbanks Ak so we have been driving for 14 hours to get there. When I searched I figured since I clicked PET Friendly they would know we had a pet .. So when we get there , there are 3 doors two of which are locked . So I go into the only door open for entry. It is a hall way .. No office ?? I holler down the corridor sevral times no one shows up. I set outside for 15 minutes I go back in holler again HELLO no one ever shows up I set outside again I am starting wonder just what it is that is going on ?? I go back in there is a little tiny table setting there maybe 24 inches diameter .. It has a folded piece of paper on it with my first name on it.. Says hello go to room such an such go to the room I am like ok guess this is how they operate ??? So get the wife and a few things and our pet. We go in we had not been there but a maybe 15 minutes there is a knock on the door .. She says you can not have pets you have to leave ?? I am like WHAT THE #$%^& so I get our things and our pet and we leave . When we get outside I ask for our money back they say no.. I am really tired.. So I said no sense in beating the crap out of these supposedly humans or beating them to death.. So we leave.. Then I get all these threatening emails blah blah.. Going to fine me for bringing my pet to their lodge.. It is like you worthelss pieces of crap when I did the search you should of known I had a pet you never show up tell after we go to the room then you come say get out.. Then want to fine me 200 canadian dollars for bringing my pet inside .. If you worthless pieces of crap would of showed yourself and actually had an office to check in at none of this would of ever happened I would not stay at this place ever screw this place ! ! ! ! !
