Lovely pousada!
Reviewed By Pippa WStayed for 5 nights in Jan 2021. The pousada is lovely! Room are nice and well appointed, the gardens around the pool area very relaxing, as are the hammocks outside each room. The breakfast was very good too. Rooms had coffee making facilities. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, and provided recommendations on eg tour guides. There were some nice extra touches - eg coffee and cakes put out for guests in the afternoon, room towels artfully arranged into animal shapes on the bed each day etc. There's a small games room and gym area by the pool which is great to have, but both are in need of updating and maintenance due to some broken or missing equipment. We stayed in high season which meant some days we had to wait a little while for a breakfast table - not complaining though because the staff were taking care to ensure tables were socially distanced and this meant reduced seating capacity. The pousada is about 10 min walk from the main restaurant area of Pipa; it's very near the road to Praia do Amor.

Reviewed By vanessagpsThis was a perfect place. It is beautiful, very comfortable, it offers great food and service. The beach just in front of the hotel is desert, almost there only for the guests. And it is gorgeous. It is 20 minutes from Pipa, so when you want to be around more people in busier beaches and restaurants, you can go there. Afterwords you just go back to this paradise called Kilombo Villas :-)

Indeed very good value for money - I recommend!

The chalet was perfect, coffee in the room and dinner offered. The food at the beach bar was excellent. The hotel maintenance very thorough. Reviewed By alexandrom127My Partner and I have booked Pousada Alto da pipa on the internet but did not expect anything special, well the experience we had was just fantastic, the girls at the reception are so sweet and helpful, the people serving the breakfast and Osmar, the driver was so sweet and helpful too, the fish pond and the turtles on the garden make the pousada so nice and cozy.

The night receptionist, I don’t know her name but I called her Cinderella, was delightful and prepared for us when we arrived in the evening.The property itself, is quaint comfortable, charming, and a good value for the money. The owner, Stephan was pleasant and helpful. The staff, Alline, day receptionist,Ninha and the kitchen/housekeeping staff were all delightful, friendly, and made everyone comfortable. The pousada is quite pleasant, tropical landscaping,quiet, delightful relaxing pool. It is literally steps away from the beach and a short walk to the main street, although, quite a steep hill to climb to get there. Glad that we stayed here, near the beach, as most of the properties along the main street hear all the noise . We had a wonderful stay here at Pousada Barbara and would definitely return. I highly recommend this property, a little bit of paradise.

It is very well located: just a few minutes walking distance to the main road with all the restaurants and bars and also not far from the beaches, fantastic to relax (in the hammocks). Emerson and his wife are amazing hosts. They gave us well suited recommendations. The breakfast was very delicious and fresh. We'd love to come again. Altogether a fantastic place.
