I was However very disappointed when I Received a email asking if I had Take the Throw that was in the room. This really didn't sit well with me and kind of left a bitter taste in my mouth. When we checked out the Blanket was in the room without a doubt. Being a Manager of a Self catering Hotel I know what its like when Guest takes things from your rooms so hence my Reason for never taking anything in Hotels. My Family and I are well travelled and stay in 4 and 5 star properties all the time. I must stay I was quite disappointed in this. I have asked the Manager to double check with Housekeeping perhaps they took it to the laundry. Or they took it and thought they could Pin this on us as we are people of colour. Other that this We enjoyed our Stay.

12 on Beach Guest House is situated right on the beach of beautiful Saldanha. There is a comfortable flow between the rooms and the recreational areas overlook the beach and activities on the bay. There are patio tables and chairs on the front patio as well as in the back courtyard which offers more protection from the West Coast winds. The lounge with a beach view is just for our guests and it features a self-service coffee, tea and cereal station. The lounge and recreational areas are easily accessible from the rooms and the beach. All rooms have their own entrances and operate independently with their own bathroom and fully equipped kitchenette. Secure and gated parking is available but limited to one vehicle per room. Breakfast and laundry is available at an additional cost. The Guest House operates during business hours but if a guest checks-in after 5pm, instructions are SMSed to him/her for how to retrieve their room keys.

Place is very neat, Staff are friendly and the most nicest is that you can hear the waves from the beach just across the road at night. Really a nice place just to break away from the busy life... Conveniently close to local stores, food can be ordered as well from the Guesthouse. Prices are very good. Braai facilities are available. Pet friendly which is a huge PLUS POINT for us. ALWAYS a PLEASURE to stay here, See you soon 12 on Beach Guest House!!!

Reviewed By helliedocEnjoyed the sound of the sea from the executive suite. Reception somewhat underwhelming for a resort of this size and caliber. No hairdryer in room. Restaurant pretty empty both dinner and breakfast but superb food( especially the chips). Loved the views and good walks on beach but too many jellyfish to swim that day

Our safe, spacious, homely and luxurious accommodation which is approximately 146 km from Cape Town. We take pride in offering our guests crisp clean rooms and outstanding breakfast. We cater mostly for corporate clients or couples. Children older than 16 years are welcome. You can make use of our shuttle service, if needed. Come and share our amazing view over the lagoon and harbour!
