Reviewed By Cindy JCet hôtel est sympa, agréablement bien placé face à l’océan. Le personnel est agréable ! Boy le propriétaire est cool, on a adoré la leçon de surf avec lui. Il nous ont facilité la location d’un scooter (indispensable pour aller manger ailleurs). Un restaurant sur place avec quelques plats bons et le petit déjeuner bon également. Pensez aux boules quies avec les Mosquées proches (pas un soucis si vous voulez être debout tôt pour aller surfer).

Best budget accommodation for surf trip
Reviewed By Ks2857Air Conditioner is extremely cold. Shower water is hot. You don’t get both for this price anywhere else on Bali right on the beach. We booked the queen bed deluxe room with ocean view. The room is clean and everything is new there as it just opened six months ago. Has a great booking dot com score, which is why we chose it. It’s right on the beach. The town is quiet, away from road noise which we appreciated greatly after surfing in other areas like south Lombok and Lembongan. The only thing I would say neutrally is that the description is ocean view but you don’t see the ocean unless you go to your porch. The manager, Mr. Agung, speaks perfect English and can book a cheap surf lesson, scooter, driver, whatever for you. The beach is great right out front. No one is harassing you to buy anything and there are a couple of little cafes within walking distance. Get a scooter to take your board to further Madewi breaks. People stay here for months at a time. Now I see why.

Best stay in Bali, maybe best stay ever
Reviewed By Chris PI cannot say enough about how good this experience was. The villa itself is lovely, spacious and clean. Huge patio, cold A.C. and hot shower. Splendid views. Plus a killer soundsystem! Perfect location out in the quiet rice paddies 2 minutes from the surf. Breakfast was ital and clearly prepared with love. Plus the spot is walking distance from Rasta Cafe- best dinner in town. But- the best part by far was the over-the-top hospitality and genuine warmth of my host. Husan went far out of his way at every turn to make my stay perfect. He phoned immediately to confirm my reservation, waited up for hours to check me in after I got lost on my way to town, and later sorted me out of a serious jam when my scooter broke down quite far from Medewi. I've been in the hospitality industry for decades, and Husan is the best I've ever known. Medewi in general was a treat; quiet town, great surf, small community of friendly locals. Stay anywhere else and you're blowing it.

Reviewed By 541marcinmReally a great place! Very clean room with hot water and AC. There is a nice common area like terrace and saloon where you can chill. Breakfast was basic, but very tasty. Location couldn’t be better! Also the stuff was very helpful, they can arrange you taxi, scooters, surf board or surf lessons. The owner is also very helpful and fluent in English. Great place to stay if you go for surfing. There is a place where you can clean and leave your board and take a shower before you go to the room. Highly recommended!
