This mountain retreat with private access to each suite offers a 5-star romantic getaway for lovers and honeymooners in spacious suites with own Jacuzzi. It has an indoor pool, covered deck near water streams, and covered terraces. This little Paradise is settled on a 2-acre manicured garden full of flowers and fruit trees nearby crystal clear water streams and falls. Each suite has a spectacular view of either nature or San Jose Valley. Standard amenities include free continental breakfast, fresh brewed coffee or tea, homemade granola, milk, yogurt,fresh fruit and juice, and home made breads. Each suite comes with private bathroom and will have fresh cut flowers, basket of tropical fruit and two bottles of water and orange juice, bathrobes, and free WIFI.

Amazing host! Not as good sleep..,
Reviewed By cbalbertaAlexander was an amazing host. So friendly and thoughtful, and for that I give all the credit in the world! It was fantastic to stay right in the jungle and his place is cute and full of charm with animals and little jungle pathways and birds to watch. Breakfast was very good with both buffet and made to order items. Although the set up for the cabana is very suited to a family, I regretfully could not give more then 3 stars because the quality of sleep is poor. The sheets, pillows and mattresses don't measure up to the standard, including several other properties in Costa Rica. I didn't sleep well and was very bothered because of it. Because Alexander was so wonderful, he offered me better pillows when I expressed my discomfort. Maybe it's more like 3.5 stars.

Reviewed By Bchavez116Hidden gem in the city. Andrea was extremely accommodating and friendly. The rooms are nice and beds comfortable. The breakfast was typical Costa Rican breakfast and was very good. There is secure parking for one or two vehicles within the property which was very convenient because we had a rental car.

Reviewed By vistaislitaI recently spent 3 weeks traveling in Costa Rica. I stayed at the Terrazas del Golf for a night on 3 separate occasions . . It is a family owned hotel that makes you feel right at home…only better. Truly 6 star service. The hotel is a beautiful elegant home situated on the golf course , with very spacious rooms and very comfortable beds and bedding. It is a must stop for any stay in San José. Prior to Covid breakfast is served on a veranda overlooking the golf course. The atmosphere is one of tranquillity and relaxation.

Heliconia Island a perfect place for nature lovers. The most beautiful botanical garden of Costa Rica. Feel like you are at home in a private atmosphere. Enjoy the birds, the river and walk around in the garden where you find a huge collection of heliconias.We have two rooms with air conditioning and two rooms with a fan. Also there is a family apartment. All the rooms have hot water and a good mattress, The furniture is made of bamboo. On the balcony you have a nice view over the garden. In the restaurant we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.Sarapiqui is a green area in the lowlands in the north of Costa Rica. There are 3 national parks, Braulio Carillio, La Selva and Tirimbina. Many activities can be done like rafting, canopy tour, horseback ride and boat trips. You can visit a pinapple, bananas or coffee plantation. For birdwatchers it is a real paradise.There is a busstop only 500 mts from the hotel.Discover Heliconia island, a small bed and breakfast in a magical garden. A magical place
Reviewed By carlbenkHeliconia Island changed hands over the last couple of years. You can no longer get a guided tour of the gardens but they are still beautifully maintained and you can wander through them at your leisure. This place is magical and so who really cares if the accommodations are a bit on the rustic side with squishy mattresses and a cranky electrical system. Breakfast was delicious and accompanied by a wonderful show of tropical birds attracted to the papaya and banana that owner Pier put out for them. We also enjoyed canoeing on the Sarapiqui, but be prepared for a bit of effort to get the canoe down and later up the steep and muddy set of stairs leading to the river.

Cariari B&B, Laurie Blizzard, and her side kick Miriam were so lovely accommodating, personable and could anticipate our needs ❤️. Laurie is a most intriguing, funny, and lovely character!! Being from Massachusetts in the US, was a great tie to Laurie....I felt right at home. She knows San Jose so well after moving here 20 yrs ago. Feel in love with the country and people.... how can't you!! Beds are comfy!! Breakfasts are filling and fresh!!!!

Excellent coffee and desserts. I enjoyed the space to practice medication. Hotel’s location is good but have in consideration the town Birrí is 10 minutes away and Heredia town is 25 minutes.

Had all facilities - tv, internet,drinking water laundry, integrated kitchen, services, parking, cable, fibre optic network.bandwidth of internet was reasonable. Had good view in balcony. Stayed in corner flat near to main road but had good sound sleep during nights.
