Nice and clean. Little to complain about
Reviewed By donnbethThe room was nice and newly done. Bed was comfortable. It had easy access outlets by the bed. Nice view. Clerks were nice and helpful. For this side of the world, you would do fine staying here. Only thing I would personally change is to have a shower curtain instead of a small, glass deflector. (Hard to keep the floor from getting wet taking a normal shower). Breakfast is offered for a fee as you arrive. Consider asking what that would be before buying the option. It was a typical breakfast of breads, cheeses, cold-cut meats, some veggies and coffee, tea or water. Juices were not offered by we didn't ask either. No iron available if that is a concern. Overall, the value was good. I'd stay there again without thinking twice but we would probably skip the breakfast and go out somewhere. My wife and I are American missionaries and have stayed at hundreds of different hotels all over the world. For eastern Europe, it's a great place for a great price.

Vouchers
Reviewed By criss cI called them, a lady's answering the phone and telling me that I can sleep on one night. The condition was to use holiday vochers, the main reason is why we called many hotels to find it, which apparently gets vochers. We arrived at the hotel and we had a very "warm" welcome. The lady at the Reception tells me that they only get vochers if we stay for 3 nights. The lady which I talked to the phone to make the reservation told me that it’s ok to pay for one night with vouchers. I told her quite clearly what I was discussing with the lady who made my reservation, but apparently the lady made me a liar, insisting that only 3 nights could be reserved with vouchers. The manager is not found, which is very normal when a problem occurs. The lady at the reception insists on checking my phone to tell her the date of the call from the phone reservation. It can not reserve a room for the night, there is no solution, just a lady who knows better what reservation I have. In what world do we live? Or would not you like to charge a night of accommodation?

Reviewed By velescuA very good location to stay when you arrive in Piatra Neamt. The location is close to rhe center and you cand find it very easy. Very clean, spacious and quiet. You can also find a restaurant and private parking. The value for money is very good.

There could not be a better place for the coming guests to enjoy the fresh air and the silence around Piatra Neamt. The welcoming hosts will do their best to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Our guesthouse offers 7 rooms, living-room with fireplace, winter terrace, outdoor grill, gazebo, free wi-fi, free parking, ping-pong table and much more!

Rooms arranged in an interesting way, with traditional, rustic elements, but modernly equipped with everything you expect to find in a modern guesthouse. The sleep is very good here, the bed is comfortable, the room is quite large, clean and welcoming. The most beautiful thing though is the interaction with the ladies who take care of the pension: very nice, kind and eager to make you feel good. Breakfast is cooked on the spot, fresh and very good. I particularly liked the black cherries homemade jam, made by one of the ladies. Recommended!

The food was absolutely delicious and aplenty, the atmosphere was joyous and relaxed. The rooms were all very clean warm and comfortable. The area was beautiful with plenty to do, close to mountain walks and also to the nearby town. All in all a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it. Elena Rowett Johns

Pensiunea Almas is located in the heart of Moldovia near the city Piatra Neamt. The mansion has 2 suites, five large double rooms with extra bed and one double room. On the ground floor is located the reception / lobby, a large living room with 2 compartments and a shared kitchen. On the large terrace you can enjoy the magnificent view and outside the kids have a playground to play.

Still working on a new terrace and restaurant, but you can have a nice meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner), great "palinca", beer and wine at decent prices in the existing terrace and outside gazebos. Very friendly hostess!

Clean, accommodating, a bit out of the way
Reviewed By scs557We had planned to spend a week here but due to illness and family death we only spent one night. They accommodated our changes without a concern. On the plus, the room was clean, fresh, and the bed was very comfortable. The town is about a mile away and the nearest shops are about a half a mile away. There is not a lot surface space in the bathroom and the room for placing odds and ends. Our biggest complaint was the shower trap. Why do not people let the hotel know when the drain is backed up? Once cleaned , it worked great. I will say the price makes it a good deal. And the cleanliness makes it a good stay.
