Reviewed By AlPinkneyWe had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Residencial Los Frayles in Paracas. We were travelling with Peru Hop. The hotel is one of Peru Hops recommendations. We checked in on March 12/2020 expecting to check out 7 nights later to continue our tour of Peru. We spent our first 3 days touring Paracas from our home base at the Los Frayles. We enjoyed the great room, generous buffet breakfast, and well maintained pool. BUT, as you all may know, on March 16/2020, the Peruvian Government put the country into lockdown in order to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Most of the guests quickly “bugged out” of the Los Frayles and bussed to Lima in the hopes of obtaining a flight home. As we had no chance of getting a flight and with a nod from the Peru Hop bus driver, we chose to remain in Paracas where we were welcomed to continue our stay at the hotel. At this point Luis and the staff at the Los Frayles truly showed what hospitality and compassion are all about. -They kept the 38 room hotel open for only 7 guests and some staff members. -They provided breakfast each day. - They supplied a beautiful lunch of traditional food each day. - Daily housekeeping services were maintained. - All facilities, including the swimming pool, were kept available. - As we stayed a total of 13 days, they sent our laundry out for cleaning. - Luis acted as our translator in these trying and anxious times. - They even upgraded our room!! So to make a long story short, we would never stay anywhere else if and a when we return to Paracas, Peru. We have friends at Hotel Residencial Los Frayles.

732/5000 The hotel is modern, has 23 rooms on three levels, on the fourth level is the dining room and a beautiful view of the sea and the two piers where boats leave for the Balletas Islands. The location is central, it is 50 meters from the Main Square of Paracas, the Boulevard of restaurants and the handicraft market. From the hotel you can book tours to the Ballestas Islands, sand carts and massage sessions. The breakfast is varied and has varieties of juices and fruits in addition to hot drinks and dishes in the background. The rooms have wireless internet, cable TV and televisions with cable channels and are smart TV and the rooms are very comfortable
Too Hot for No Air Conditioning
Reviewed By U8610QVmarkwThe room was fine & the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent. BUT, the hotel has no air conditioning! It is hot and you have to sleep with the windows open to get a breeze. Taxis drive up & down the street, honking at anyone they see to pick up a fare. All day & all night. Unless you are a very heavy sleeper, you will not sleep well.

Brand new and strategically located Hostel, with big and comfortable rooms, and comfortable beds, perfect for a great nights' sleep. Private bathrooms, 24h hot water, cable TV (Direct T.V.), clean, perfect location, near Cruz del Sur bus station, the town centr, the pier and the ocean.

Reviewed By aussiedave717We had a spacious room just a few metres from the bus terminal. It was well aointed with a shady patio. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The hotel was 10 minutes walk to the beach and shopping centre.

Reviewed By teresav306We had an excellent stay here. Beautiful, newly constructed and sparkling clean. Rooms are beautiful and have lots of natural light. Comfy beds, hot showers, and lovely little terrace to relax. Great location - a 3 minute walk from all of the hustle and bustle meant that this place is nice and quiet at night time, and still so close to everything! Breakfast was delicious every morning. José and the other staff are very welcoming and kind. Highly recommend.

Cancelled our booking on arrival!
Reviewed By TravelingtwopeopleWe booked this place a couple of months ago through booking.com. We arrived Easter weekend being told that Paracas would be completely booked up. We got to the hotel and they refused to admit our booking. We showed our voucher and they said they had cancelled it 2 weeks before. We had had no notification from booking.com. The reception refused any kind of help and frankly didn’t care. 30mins later when we were in a hostel room (found for us by Peru Hop) we got an email from booking.com saying this hotel had cancelled our booking- so they obviously cancelled it after we’d left. As Paracas was so busy they had obviously got a longer booking and cancelled our one night. Possibly leaving us without a room for the night.

Ok for a one night stay
Reviewed By T0J057Stayed in a double room. This hotel is very basic but was very clean. People on reception were very helpful and friendly. Did not swim in the pool as the water was a little cloudy. Very close to the water so had a nice view from the small balcony. Ok for one night in Paracas. Breakfast was minimal choice but it did the job. Would recommend.

Reviewed By Jack JWe stayed here one night during our Perú Hop tour. Although a little bit outside of Paracas, this place was great! Very chilled, spacious, great bathrooms and rooms! They also offer a free service to get in and out of Paracas. It's the kind of place that we could have easily have stayed for several days. Unfortunately, we weren't able to due to other commitments later on in our trip. If you're on Perú hop and fancy staying away from the tour for a night then this is definitely the place for you!

Reviewed By Nei BO serviço excelente do dono do estabelecimento, educação, trabalho e sobretudo a dedicação aos hóspedes e ao hotel, compensam o tamanho pequeno dos quartos, que são muito limpos e agradáveis. É muito novo o hotel e deve ter em breve mais um andar em cima, com mais quartos. O ponto em Paracas é excelente e perto de todas as atrações e restaurantes.

Reviewed By AmpariiinnnA ver es un hostal no un hotel,pero tiene buena ubicación,esta todo nuevo y limpio.A mi me toco una habitación interior y el baño olía a humedad,pero estaba impecable.Aire acondicionado no hay,como en ningún sitio en Perú a no ser que vayas a hoteles de lujo.El desayuno básico y lento,si te dicen a las 7 es a las 7 :20 ,pero no aquí,en todos los lugares que he visitado en Perú,mismos desayunos y misma lentitud,así que no lo tendremos en cuenta. Amabilidad 100% ,me dejaron tirada los de la excursión que había contratado y el señor me acompaño a la plaza y me colaron en otra excursión en segundos.Encantada con el trato.
