For a single command there were multiple errors such as the Ice teas on the menu are 500ml but we got only 250ml and they said this is the only one they have for the same price. Also after 5-6 visits/checks the waitress still made errors. The milk for the coffee was perforated and poured on the sugar.

Terrible stay

The moment you arrived in the reception you can feel the staffy air, it smells like an old and dirty kitchen. The rooms are nothing like in the photos, apart from the view we had from our room, the rest was disapointing. The walls are that thin that i could hear our neighbours talk as if we were sharing the room. The water in the shower was barely warm, we couldn not have a hot shower. The toilet was not properly cleaned and the shower area did not make me feel comfortable while having a shower. The towels had a strange smell, but, I always carry towels with me. They have SPA facilties (closed now due to Covid19) but there are not bath robes or flipflops in the room. The breakfast was poor, apart from the coffee that was nice, the food was not great, at least our choice. According to their menu, you can choose from 4 different predefined meals. If you are a vegetarian you can have milk and cereals. I asked them to remove the meat from some other dish, which they did. I had eggs.. extremely well done eggs :( It's location is not great either, located on the main street with intense traffic, but on the other hand it is easy to reach. Won't come back for sure.

Reviewed By Andrei TWe had a short stay, just 1 night unfortunately. But after several trips arou d Europe and Romania, I can say that DUPA APA LA RAZVAN is the best accomodation we ever had. Everything was fab, including our spacy and clean room, the food. The hosts and the prices. Hopefully we will be back one day!

Great stay and amazing spa options
Reviewed By GeorgianaS703The food is very good and the rooms are comfortable and nice. I strongly recommend to pay and enjoy the Spa facilities. The pool is nice, the foot massage chair, the jacuzzi and tropical showers. They also offer massages but they won't blow your mind - I wouldn't do it again. We will gladly return here. The breakfast was very yummy with many options -all fresh.

Reviewed By Jerzy JI have booked a room after reading opinions on booking.com. A total mark 8,5 ("very good") convinced me to do so, but now I have no clue where so high rates are coming from. The hotel rooms look ok only on puctures, but in a reality is an disaster. I had an apartment and it was my worst experience with hotels since very loooong time. The apartament consists of 2 rooms and it is almost all good I can say about it. It looked like this apartment was recently renovated in the seventies or eighties. Dirty bathroom, old and incapacitated furniture, dirty floor in rooms (stains and hair after previous guests). I had the impression that dirt and dust is everywhere, and it was unpleasant to even sit down on the upholstery of the couch and chairs. There was Wi-Fi in the hotel, but my room was not it the range of it. To get to the hotel and go out in the evening you have to ring the bell and wait for the quy to open the padlock and remove the chain from the gate to the parking or wicket from the front. In the bathroom there is only a liquid soap and shampoo (but I was not certain whether it was not the same in both dispensers). Breakfast in the morning is served at downstairs' restaurant (it is included into a bill) and it includes cormflakes and one of six breakfast sets you are ordering by the waiter (the whole proces may take even half hour). The waiter can bring you also caffe. If you want to drink anything else, there is also a stir water or apple juice (both in plastic bottles). If you are still hungry after eating your breakfast set you can buy something more at the hotel restaurant :(. The Staff in the hotel is strange - it looked like they have been forced to work or they simply did not like this job. Of the good things was also a free parking for the car in a back and a frontal fasade of the hotel with an outside garden. I was very disappointed of my stay. For this price you may find something much better in the vicinity of Sighetu or even to consider staying in Baia Mare. Never again!!!

Breakfast included along with an introduction to rural Romanian peasant life. The standard of the accommodation is high along with the attention to detail. Each person who stays at the Village Hotel - Transylvania is a guest in our home and our village, and made to feel that way.

We asked to be seated outside, and we liked the garden and the lazy cats there :) The food was very tasty and service was great. They serve mostly traditional food, and the portions are big! Good value for money, I recommend this place.

A great base for seeing northern Maremures
Reviewed By check81We stayed for three days while touring northern Maremures. It was an excellent base. It is very clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the food was plentiful and excellent. From here it is an easy drive to Desesti and many other wooden churches, to hiking on the Creasta Cocosului, to Sapanta, and also to walk across the bridge from Sighetu to Ukraine for a nice lunch. We have no hesitation to give a hearty recommendation.
