Absolute worst stay in Taiwan
Reviewed By lisannesoundsIt already started off bad when we couldn't enter the B&B, it took 5 minutes of knocking before someone noticed we wanted to enter. However it looked cute in the pictures so we were definitely of positive mind. The employee who welcomed us was quite in a rush to return to her conversation with someone else, but seemed friendly. Our room is a bit outdated, but nothing too bad, except for the air-conditioning which obviously hasn't been cleaned in forever. Which is one of the problems here, the cleaning. The bathroom is full of long dark hairs on the floor, and the bed sheets are stained. But okay, this probably could've been resolved by trying to talk to an employee. It is extremely noisy, the neighbouring room's conversations are easily heard, just like anyone moving around in the B&B. When it was time to sleep we noticed it couldn't get dark in our room - the frosted glass showed a lot of light from the stairways of which we could turn most off, but not everything sadly. Followed by waking up very early, the frosted glass proved it's worth again by lighting up the whole room with daylight and light from the stairways. Perhaps the expectations were too high, but we are extremely disappointed and would definitely not recommend to stay here.

Great, cosy stay
Reviewed By metzalxI loved my stay here. We booked the quad room and it's styled to resemble home - absolutely comfy and cosy. The room was extremely clean and spacious...Meaning you still had space to comfortably move around even with 3-4 luggages open. The staff were very helpful during our stay, we had to move on to a small town after our stay and they tried their best to help us look at public transport options, advising us on cost/time-effective options. They are lovely people to have a chat with if the communication barrier isn't too bad :) We could speak Chinese so that helped! Being a small hotel, they didn't have any in-house eateries or much facilities, but there is a common area on the 3rd storey with a hot/cold water dispenser and utensils for cooking. The rooftop is also accessible if you wanted a nice, quiet place to chill. Location-wise, there are many eateries right outside the hotel. If you took a short walk around the area you can also find street food, which were really delicious. The night market is only around 5min walk from the hotel, so you definitely won't go hungry in the evening. It wasn't the most accessible place from the HSR station where we came from however, but considering the fact that you probably won't be going to the station everyday it doesn't really matter. We had to take a shuttle bus and then walk 10-15min from where we alighted. You also need to take public transport to the railway station area, where all the shopping is (if that's your thing). Would be back here if I'm ever in Tainan again :)

Reviewed By 佳政 李距離大東夜市走路大約10分鐘，只是住宿地點在巷弄無停車場，需要路邊停車多花費一些停車費。房內非常乾淨，只是距離林森路太近，馬路上的聲音都會傳進房內，對睡眠品質要求極高的人可能是ㄧ大挑戰！！

Extraordinary breakfast
Reviewed By izi fHotels is about 20 min drive by bus no 3 from the train station. Location is ok, close to the market and about 30 min walk to main town attractions (Konfucious palace...). Rooms are nice decorated and our with 2 beds was comfortable. The big surprise was the breakfast> we got vouchers which we could use in 5 small restaurants on the market! So the morning was very interesting walking through a busy market and checking out the offer of sorted places. I had really good fish sup and my coleague delicious sweets in a nearby bakery. Definatly a stay to remember!
