Excellent restaurant and wonderful staff
Reviewed By KenFBWIThis review is for the restaurant / cafe and not the hotel as we stayed elsewhere. I wish we had stayed here. Simple and charming outdoor cafe and restaurant. The menu has a few selections…beef, chicken, fish either grilled, curry, etc. fish was cooked perfectly and was delicious. It was also a rare place to sit and enjoy a cold beer. Two thumbs up

Reviewed By quentindemetzClose to the center of Moroni, this hotel offers the cleanest rooms we've seen in Comoros, with really great service. Meals were great (ask for the Indian dinner!) the place was decorated in good taste.

A very well located and welcoming hotel
Reviewed By AnaPrataDiasCostaI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Wood is in the core concept of this hotel. It is seen everywhere, from the bungalows, to the restaurant, and the lounge area by the tiny swimming pool. And it renders a coziness that is so welcoming after having been in the hustle and bustle of the city. The wooden clad interior of the room has a simple and straightforward décor. It is spacious and the king-sized bed was quite comfortable. There was a small lounge area with two armchairs and a coffee table, and a mini-bar, which was great to store a few drinks or a snack. A small desk with a chair by one of the windows, makes this a very nice place to work, in case you need to. The bathroom is not very big but it doesn't feel cramped. There is hot (and cold) water at all times. A place to put the toiletries bag would be a good addition. The air-conditioning was strong enough to cool the room in a few minutes after turning it on. I think the shutters should have some kind of lock in order to stay in place once they are open. The room was spotlessly clean on arrival and every single day of our stay. There is a tiny swimming pool and a small lounge area with two lounge chairs and a sunshade near it which face the sea. If you want to bathe or go for a walk by the ocean, they will lend you a key to the gate. Staff is very friendly and when one asks for something out of the ordinary, they will go out of their way to try to help you.

Reviewed By Kenneth_HartWow - the only hotel I've stayed at that provides candles in the room. Location right next to the sea, as I assume most everything is on the island. The breakfast was good, the sleep adequate, and the room appeared clean.

Experience the real Anjouan
Reviewed By Vacation527248Hotel is in the heart of the Medina. Not very easy to find but friendly locals will ahow you the way. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Shower very simple but functional. Best part is the roof top terrace where you can have dinner if you ask the owner. Arcan(owner) is very friendly and helpful. He takes hospitality very seriously and he will show you all around town, let you know at which local places to eat and even haggle great prices for you in the market. He also arranges car tours around the island. We stayed 2 nights and had a very easy and relaxing stay.

Un accueil très sympathique!
Reviewed By isabelle RArrivés dans cet hôtel par hasard, nous avons trouvé un très bon accueil. L'établissement est situé à quelques centaines de mètres de l'aéroport (qui doit avoir 1 voir 2 vols par jour), dans une petite rue en impasse. Il n'y a pas de vue, rien d'exceptionnel. Mais la maison est propre, les chambres sont propres et plutôt grandes, la literie ferme. Il doit y avoir 3 ou 4 chambres ce qui donnent une ambiance familiale. Notre hôte (dit "Contrôle") est d'une gentillesse, tout à notre service, soucieux de notre bien être et quand on le sollicite, il parle volontier de son île. Les lits sont refaits chaque jour avec un petit brin de ménage et les moustiquaires sont installées pour vous le soir. Il vous prépare le repas en fonction de vos envies, et si cela reste simple (il n'y a pas beaucoup de choix, nous sommes à Moheli), c'est tout à fait correct. Il faut en revanche anticiper un minimum car il fera les courses en fonction de votre commande. Cela peut paraître le minimum attendu pour un hôtel, mais un tel accueil n'est pas si évident dans cette île qui reçoit assez peu de touristes.
