Reviewed By Peter KVery cozy and friendly. Rooms are clean and spacious. Very friendly staff. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. It is nothing extraordinary but enough to arm you for a day ahead. The hotel also has a parking lot which we used. It is behind the barrier so looks pretty safe.

Reviewed By Kazlg62Friendly helpful staff. We were on the top floor and wifi didn't work, staff tried a booster outside our door and gave us alternative wifi code which worked. Our room was excellent and very clean, fan in the room which helped with the heat. Loved the breakfast, lots of it!! Walk to the old town is a good 15 minutes (next to the river which makes it enjoyable) but trams are cheap and regular. You can also hire bikes, the 'hop on/hop off' community type! Again very cheap. We used the tourist information centre a lot and again very helpful.

Reviewed By kimdgd10Stayed with my friend at the Ogonowski hotel in Bydgoszcz last week - was superb!! Staff were so so lovely and helpful! The hotel was warm, welcoming and friendly! The breakfast was amazing !! Had every food under the sun!! Tram 3 zloty (about 60p) from outside hotel into town - main square etc, a short walk out the hotel turn right there is a big shopping mall across from bus station, can actually walk to main square doesn't take long but it was really hot so tran was fine! You buy your bus ticket from shop next to hotel! Taxis are cheap as chips too!! The food in Bydgoszcz I'd beautiful and cost next to nothing!! Vodka and mixer was 10 zloty (£2) at the hotel - very reasonable and in town vodka and mixer 5 zloty (£1) we couldn't spend our money!! Lovely shops not really tourist things to buy magnets lighters etc but there is at the very small airport, airport is surreal!! All in all fantastic hotel, will definitely be back x x x

Spoiled by the staff and well fed by the cooks, even after three weeks spent on the premises of Agat Hotel I cannot find a single thing to complain about. All I can say is that I was extremely lucky to be living there on what could be defined as business trip. Okay. If anything, pierogis could be better. But crumb-crusted chicken and pancakes could NOT be better. So I hope to be back. Best wishes to the wonderful staff, Yours, Paul

Not possible to sleep, very noise place
Reviewed By SlayermenThe staff in the night doesn’t speak english, there was for several nights people in the parking right next to the windows drinking and speaking loud cursing the whole time till very late, with such a hot nights is hard to sleep with the windows closed but if you open it is not possible to sleep with such a noisy people, is not possible to rest here.

Disappointing
Reviewed By OlaZylaStayed there for one night with my family, we rented 2 rooms,winter time it was around -2 °C outside and inside we were sitting having jumpers on. My Ears and nose were cold when complained to owner how cold rooms are we were told its impossible cause heating was on - yes it was on for an about 5min... I Spend whole nigh using tiny portable heating thst we manage to take from the owner, unfortunately there was only one so for the rest of my family = they were sleeping under two blankets at once. Not worth to stay there during winter time. Whole experience was very disappointing.

Reviewed By Giovanni D....bella struttura, accogliente, le stanze di un riposante color albicocca, la mia stanza singola ha un letto comodo, bagno in camera, tre elementi vintage ....un tavolino una cassettiera e un armadi ad una anta....illuminazione che stanca gli occhi.....sicuramente chi ha operato ha sicuramente pensato al cliente buoni gusti, tranquillita'. Si trova nell'immediata periferia della citta' ed è raggiungibile dai pulman 51 e 58 per il centro ....un po' scomoda la via ma si tratta di una nuova zona con molte villette in espansione ....ancora un po' di tempo e sicuramente migliorera'.....complimenti

Reviewed By Nicolagordon611Beautiful building but very run down and old fashioned inside. The bathroom was very dark and stank of blocked drains and the toilet seat was loose. There was no hairdryer or kettle in the room and the staff were not very helpful and didn't speak any English. The worst thing though was the breakfast. Plentiful continental foods, cheese yogurts etc but greasy bacon and eggs, hot dog sausages and what looked like broad beans in ketchup instead of baked beans yuk. I couldn't even have toast they just had plain bread. On the plus side though we had a lovely view from our room over the horse riding school opposite.

Cheap hotel
Reviewed By Ashika-plYou can immediately tell it's a cheap hotel, though nothing very bad. It was missing some small things like hand-dryer or paper towels in bathroom, lack of carpet in the room, lack of free tea/coffee, not repaired door in the bathroom that was slamming so terribly (and you could hear everything from teh corridor). I've slept in better (and cheaper) hostels in my life. But still it was very clean (apart from the window in the bathroom, beware of family of spiders there ;) ), the breakfast (paid additionally) was very rich and satisfactory, room offered everything needed, including kettle, TV and phone. It is a bit far from centre, but if you need something cheap (and there aren't many cheap places in Bydgoszcz) it's probably the best choice.
