Just before covid tried to ruin the world, my daughter and I traveled to Mendoza and stayed here. It is a quaint gem that was such a lovely experience! The grounds are simply beautiful and the staff were so kind and helpful! After going on full day vineyard tours in Mendoza coming back here was so relaxing and refreshing. I’ve told about our trip and this place to so many people and hope we can return some day!

Beautiful small hotel in lovely neighbourhood
Reviewed By Wsb01We stayed a total of 5 nights at the Hub Porteno between arriving in BA and returning after travel. It is located in the lovely affluent neighbourhood of Recoleta where many other large hotels (Hyatt, Four Seasons, Sofitel etc.) are located. But this is a small boutique hotel on a side street which is quiet with large beautifully furnished rooms and particularly large modern bathrooms. You walk out the door and can be at many sites in a short walk. Nearby are many restaurants and cafes. The neighbourhood is bustling. I recommend you ask for a room facing the courtyard as the street can be a bit noisy. The staff were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was quite good as was the lovely young waitress who served us every morning with a lively smile. I do think that you get larger more lovely rooms in this boutique hotel than you would at one of the larger hotels with a lot more peace and quiet. We did spend some time on the terrace rooftop on the 4th floor and enjoyed that. I also used the equipment in the very small gym area (elliptical, treadmill, bike). Nearby, we went to the restaurant, Fervour. It is high end and has good food. But right beside it is a gem of a place that all the locals frequent called El Sanjuanino which has empanadas and a lot more for a very reasonable price. We went there twice and enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and good food. I would also say walking around Recoleta is very safe, including at night so the location was a bonus from that perspective as well.

Reviewed By Ambassador581097My partner and I stayed in De los Andes Hotel from Jan 8th till Jan 10th and I can only say: thank God we only booked two nights. We did our checkin in the afternoon then went for a walk and when we returned at mdnight so tired from our excursion, we found out that there were no blankets in our bed, that there was only one set of towels and, last but not least, that the batteries of the remote control weren't working. At around 1am the receptionist handed us a set of blankets, towels and new batteries. We made our complaint the very next day for we had paid for a service we didn't receive. Unfortunately, and here is the fraudulent part, after waiting for a whole day they said that they were sorry about the inconvenience but that there was nothing to be done. We asked to speak directly to a manager but the receptionist said that there was no one there though they had an email address we could write to. We sent an email telling about our bad experience in their hotel and yet here we are, writing this review and still waiting for a compensation.

Slightly out of town (but within easy walking distance of the town for restaurants etc.) and, with the room at the back of the property, it was a comfortable and quiet night.

If you visit our home, you will be a special guest and you will be part of this marvelous world full of fantasy and lots of human stories, that we call Posada del Fin del Mundo. Certainly you will want to be part of this story that has no end. Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world. It is located south of the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego. One of the most beautifull places to discover. This small, but incredible city, year after year is the destiny of thousands of people who come here looking for nature and adventure, furthermore Ushuaia is also peace, a quiet spot and the door to one of the most fantastic landscapes: Antarctica.

It’s a steep walk up from town, but the view over town, mountains and Beagle Canal is fine (at least from the common areas). We had a fantastic room on the very top with views all around. Good bed, good heating, ok wifi. Breakfast is ok and served in the almost private dining room. At arrival we got several, a bit strange admonitions, so as not to clean our boots in the towels, not to use the dining room for eating outside breakfast time etc. Slightly annoying also: You need a key to get out of the building (and in, all day). The owner turned out to be very helpful and interested in her guests.

Malka Hostel is situated on the top of a hill where you can appreciate a beautiful view of Quebrada de Humahuaca, a local archaeological place. The hostel has five different cabins which are all clean and safe. There is hot water provided by solar energy because our hostel is an ecologic hostel. When you wish to cook for yourself our guests can use our well equipped kitchens and the barbeque as many times as they need!

Reviewed By EvaNakoWords are not enough to describe how magical Malka is. On the top of a hill overlooking Tilcara and the gorgeous mountains, a nest of rooms set in beautiful nature. The room I stayed was spacious yet homely. The cafe area is a lovely respite where you can make tea and fresh orange juice. And the yoga/ meditation studio is available for some time off. I had a massage there and it was gorgeous! The owners and workers are so lovely, welcoming and helpful! Bottom line: I’ve been travelling in Argentina for a month and this is the best place I’ve stayed in, so much so I didn’t want to leave! Cannot recommend it enough!

Reviewed By IkurlatIf you ever come to Puerto Manzano you MUST stay in Hostería Dos Bahías. The location is perfect. The hosts are wonderful, warm welcoming and ready to make your stay perfect. The rooms are all very carefully decorated and perfect in size wether you stay in a regular room or in one of the suites. We were a party of 18 and every detail was taken into account to make our old school mates reunion perfect.

Reviewed By pazandreamariaThis apart hotel is located next to the public bus stop. The buildind is across from Manzano Bay, 100 meters away from the old jetty. From some rooms there are parcial views of the bay. The pool has warm water and you can stay there until night. There are three beaches within walking distance. The staff at the hotel were always ready to help.
