German island seems to be a fixture on most island hopping tours around Port Barton. In fact the island has a lovely little palm fringed beach and you can enjoy drinks and food there. However, around lunch time the beach seems to be heaving with boats and tourists and is best to be avoided at that time

Papawyan Falls

Reviewed By JonderP83 - England, United Kingdom

I was in Port Barton for quite a while so I decided to hire a Scooter for the day and head to the waterfall. The automatic scooter was obtained from a place on Rizal Street, they charge 650PHP and were honest people.
The drive is a bit confusing, I used maps.me to navigate my way and after about 25 mins I found the entrance hut where you can make a small donation to get to the falls.
You then have a 15-20 minute hike through jungle (just follow the river), you will find some steps in certain places to help you and hopefully more should be in place by now as they were working on them when I went in April 2017.
Eventually you will come across the falls where you have a great fresh water pool to cool down and swim in, there are also toilets provided and a hut to sit and eat or drink inside.
Great spot which I had all to myself for a couple of hours although it's probably an ideal spot to take friends!
Oh and if you find my camera cover here please send it back to England for me!

Long Beach

Reviewed By Becky R - Seoul, South Korea

This is an amazing beach with only sand and great swimming opportunities. Since it is not well known, it is very empty. However, since it is not well known, there are shops or restaurants nearby so bring lunch if you want to stay longer and set up a drop-off and pick up time with a tricycle driver...or rent a motorcycle for the day.

Exotic Island

Exotic island was the 'lunch break' island for our island hopping group and I was soooo glad that we could spend a bit longer time here. The Beaches, water, scenery, landscape far away are just a perfect setting for your lifetime calendar photos. There is white sand, black rocks, pristine water, a bit of wind, full on Sunshine, bangkas and volcanoes in the background, what else can you ask for?
Absolute joy, would highly recommend it, especially for romantic couples.

This waterfall is nature's wonder eady to get to just a short walk from where we land in one of the island, there is a small community living in that small island, the water is refreshing cold and there is a donation box on your way out its judt to maintainance of the place

Paradise Island

Reviewed By deiseboyz

We visit here as part of a day long. Island hopping tour of Islands around Port Barton. This tour was suppose to be for wonderful snorkeling. I have snorkeled all over SE Asia including the tioman and perenthian Islands in Malaysia and there is not the slightest comparison. Something is seriously wrong here the lack of numbers of fish and bleached coral. This is not just this island but where ever we visited on the day. Which are the standard stops for these tours. This payicular island is small with a dirty area for visitors. Many people crowded in a small area. Our boat of 8 people happy to leave. Only plus picturesque view.

Cacnipa Island

Reviewed By New_YLOO - Philippines

Cacnipa island is 1 hour bangka ride from Port Barton - it has just one resort on the island - the rest of the island is filled with wild Forests. I liked it very much - the beach was clean, with white powdery sand.
There were hammocks and beach chairs where we just lounged.
It was nice to swim off the beach, and snorkel - there were lots of colourful fish. The island has a restaurant with reasonably priced dishes and an excellent variety of food - normal and exotic!
There were very few people on the beach always. very peaceful.
All in all, a great place to spend a whole day.

Mangrove River

Reviewed By MsLifeIsAdventure - Oklahoma

The Mangrove Boat Paddle Tour is simple, and yet shows how nature can stand the test of time. Not many people who come to the Mangrove realized that the trees there had been there forever. The wildlife and ecosystem of both the salt and fresh water had contributed to the mutual dependence of plants ans animals as well as the native who get their food from the mangrove. It is good to know that it is being preserved, and that only native tribal people are allowed to go around it to get the crabs and other staples. It is a relaxing and yet interesting tour.

Boayan Island

Reviewed By Evanna S

Hi.. Clarissa here.. my hubby Niki and I both are Naturist and being a naturistcouple means we love enjoying naked holiday ourselves including nude bathing, floating and skinnydipping.. last year in December 2014 we've been in Palawan, and we've enjoyed an AMAZING naked holiday ourselves in BOAYAN ISLAND!
As because we live in Tanza, Cavite area.. the Beaches here are not suitable for enjoying nudism. So we decided to travel Palawan for 1 week.. our first plan was to visit Malapacao island, for enjoying naked holiday ourselves.. but since it is an exclusive clothing-optional resort, so the price were very high for us.. and finally we decided to go to Boayan island.
We've paid the boatman 1000 peso to go there from El Nido.. we arrived in island after 30 mins boat-journey. We arrived here at 8am and till we went back to El Nido at 6pm evening.. we were TOTALLY NAKED in the island, we took off our clothes and we ran to the sea for bathing and floating.. then skinnydipping.
The island has a magnificent view.. calm and quiet place.. perfect for naturists. We took our meal for lunch, beers and water with us so we had no problem about eating. We came here from far away Cavite to enjoying naked holiday ourselves.. and we must have to say that we are totally satisfied.
We've been 4 days over and over to Boayan island because we've fallen in love with that place already.. So in the conclusion I must have to say, "TO ALL OUR FELLOW NUDIST-NATURIST FRIENDS LIVING IN Philippines.. IF YOU WANNA ENJOY A PEACEFUL NAKED HOLIDAY YOURSELF.. YOU SHOULD VISIT PALAWAN ISLAND".
