I emailed a number of dive operators in April about some fun dives in May. Geoff at Dive!Dive!Dive! responded promptly and answered all my questions. I needed to get a new medical. He told me where to get the required form and recommended somewhere to get the medical. I booked 2 shore dives. The excursion was well organised. The equipment was all the right size, recent/new and well maintained. The briefings were clear and the dive leader, Chris (instructor), did a great job. The price was very reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to dive with them again. Thoroughly recommended.

Playa Flamenca Street Market

Reviewed By Steve H - United Kingdom

Generally markets in the UK are declining but in Spain they are very much supported by both locals and tourists, probably because you can still openly buy fake branded goods but personally I don't have an issue with that because people buy such goods would never buy the real brand and also you can haggle over the price not something that UK market traders are interested in. Anyway, this market is huge, probably the best part of a mile walking both ways. Set up early Saturday morning along a straight road and selling fruit & veg, bakers, clothes, glasses, flowers, shoes, in fact you name it you can find it!, the "lookie lookie" men also use the street to sell and are very popular but not with the police!!. The market has several small mobile cafe's where you can buy snacks and drinks, there are also 2 bars and two Chinese restaurants. Actually a good market, you can haggle with most stall holders but it can be rammed!! be prepared for several hundred people probably up to a thousand walking both ways! but great fun, take a hat in the summer!! you can buy water!. Overall if you are in the area and like markets then it is well worth a visit!. Enjoy!.

We called in for a late lunch. It was very hot outside therefore sat in doors. The dining area was lovely and very cool.
We opted for the club sandwiches which were nice and others had seabass and a chicken dish. All were nice and presented well.
We also had the selection of cakes which was a bit pricey at 11 euros but they were very nice.
Service good and waiter friendly. Will call in again

Las Colinas Golf & Country Club

Las Colinas boasts a 18-hole championship golf course, which has been recognised in the Top 100 Golf Courses in Continental Europe 2014, by British magazine Golf World and was awarded as "Spain's Best Golf Course" category at the World Golf Awards in 2015 and 2016. The width of its fairways, the design of its extensive undulating greens and the numerous tees at each hole give the course great versatility, making it suitable for professional competitions while also offering any player, regardless of his or her level, a pleasant, enjoyable and affordable game. Designed by the renowned North American landscape architect, Cabell B. Robinson, the designer of internationally recognized golf courses such as La Reserva in Sotogrande, Finca Cortesín on Costa del Sol, Praia d'El Rey in Portugal and Royal Golf d'Evian in France. In addition to its exclusive design, the defining characteristic of Las Colinas golf course is that it adapts to the special contours of the terrain to naturally blend into the surroundings.

I have played this course 3 times now ,and my view remains the same.
It is too expensive for a round of golf(nearly 200 euros for two with a buggy.)
Not really happy being asked to to get round asap when the views are well worth looking at and we are supposed to be having fun,and paid a small fortune.
The course well wonderfully kept and presented does not have many wow factors as it has a par 3 you can throw a ball at and water that makes it not much fun for the (let's be honest here)any golfer with an average handicap or higher.
So I think ,worth an expensive treat,but.......

My partner, my two daughters and I spent a fantastic hour on close contact with the birds of prey. Our wonderful instructor, Marianne, gave us lots of background information while at the same time not spending too much time on details. She managed to assure my youngest daughter enough so she also ended up holding one of the smallest birds. Up close and personal with some magnificient and obviously well treated birds, in beautiful scenery, this was a great experience for all of us. Well worth the drive and the money!
