Definitely a must to visit, it was really beautiful with lots of places to sit around the lake. The water is clear and the national park is very clean. Take a bike ride around the lakes or hire a canoe, we did both

the Experience is worth the walk. The first half can be done either by walk, starting 50 m up from Tommy market along the main road, located right below babino polje. otherwise it can be done by car following an unpaved road that can probably be seen from satellite Google maps. Second half is a walking path, but the last 300–500 m are rough, so you need decent shoes for that. The cave is flooded and deep, so you can swim inside, and the ceiling of the lowest point is roughly 2 m above had while swimming. Inside the cave you can step on ground again to rest. Definitely bring swimming glasses or snorkel, maybe a waterproof camera to catch the reflexes of lights in the cave and underwater. dives from any height are possible from the cliffs around the cave. a hut sells drinks.

We had a great experience renting a car from Mini Brum, and we definitely recommend them! Mljet is a beautiful island that deserves exploring, but with no public transport, having a car to get around is a definite must! Mini Brum is conveniently located at the Sobra port, just as you get off the ferry. We rented a brand new VW Up! for three days. It was in great condition, extremely fuel efficient, and it was perfect for getting all around the island. The fellow who assisted us at Mini Brum is Nikola, and he was very friendly and professional. He recommended the right car for us, and he gave us a detailed map and great recommendations on what to do and where to go. Thanks to Nikola and Mini Brum for helping to make our stay on Mljet so enjoyable!
