The Best View, Staff and Aircraft For Your Skydiving Adventure. Tandem Skydiving, Learn To Skydive, Equipment Sales And Service. WE MAKE SMILES

Reviewed By Emily M

My husband have I have done 2 tandem jumps here over the past few years. The facilities are very rundown and even one of the aircraft we were on was held together with ducktape.

The first experience I had was wonderful. I was able to look past all of the aforementioned shortcomings. We came in, filled out paperwork, watched the video and within about 20 mins or so were up the in the air. Great trip.

The second time wasn't as great. We came in on a cloudy day with high winds so we had to wait about 4 hours in order to jump. That's find. Safety first and all of that. But because of the rundown facilities and lack of food available, my blood sugar dropped. Let's just say I did not enjoy jumping out of the aircraft that time.

If you plan to come here, bring snacks because you never know when you'll be able to actually jump. The staff are nice enough but I'd prefer to go somewhere a little more comfortable.

Shrine of Our Lady Virgin of the Poor

Reviewed By Larry Jaason A - Chattanooga, Tennessee

This is a hidden gem most people dont know about but should. It is a lovely park dedicated to catholic worships and the shrine is designed as a exact replica of the one in Belgium where a young girl witnessed the Virgin Mary. This is a wonderful place to go and escape, to pray and meditate. Do not be surprised if you are the only ones here. Take a walk on the prayer walk and breath the fresh air and enjoy the nature around you. This is a free place to visit but I would suggest a donation as some of the beautiful breathtaking tile work needs a minor repair. This is a spiritual place that will touch you.

We went for a girls trip while on vacation and the wine was not what we expected. It's a nice and quiet place, but if you drink sweet wine don't go. Didn't try the pizza but it did look amazing.

We enjoyed everything about our experience at Buttonwillow. Our group of 13 ranged in age from 7 to 70, and it was enjoyed by all. The food was true Southern style and delicious. The show was very informative and entertaining. We laughed and were truly educated on life during Civil War times. We also gained knowledge of both the confederate and the union sides of the war. It was a 45 minute beautiful drive from Chattanooga and worth every minute. The old church where the theater is housed is charming. Highly recommend Buttonwillow Church Civil War Dinner Theater.

This was a last minute idea as we spent the night in Chattanooga the night before. I read online and the reviews were fantastic so my 10 year old son and I gave it a try. We LOVED it! I'm not even a fan of small spaces (elevators sometimes make me feel jittery) but I was able to do the Canyon Crawl. At first when she pointed where we had to go, I have to say I was a bit nervous....but by the end of our hike I was going head first into holes you were barely able to squeeze into. Scarlett, our guide, was very informative, friendly and knowledgeable. Go give this a try! It's SO worth it! Also -where old clothing - you are gonna get dirty!!

Children's Holocaust Memorial

This wonderful boxcar is just a 20 minute drive from Chattanooga. It is a memorial to the Holocaust and is an original train car that was used by the Germans during that terrible time in history. This car was brought to the states by donations and generosity all the way from Berlin. The inside of the car has dedications and stories about those who survived the tragedy, as well as those who didn't. Inside the boxcar, there are thousands of paper clips, which were a Norwegian symbol of resistance to the Nazi occupation. The paper clips were donated from all over the world. This is a very moving tribute and worth a visit to remember what hate can lead to.

Foster Falls

Reviewed By TNGal_32 - Nashvile, TN

We spent time here instead of sitting in traffic. Traffic through Chattanooga causes frequent delays for our frequent trips between Nashville and Atlanta. When Google Maps revealed a significant delay getting through Chattanooga yet again, we opted to take Highway 41 (that parallells I-24) and spend some time at Foster Falls. Great decision.

The hike down to the waterfall was slippery (after rain earlier in the day) but was easily made in less than 30 minutes. I wish I had brought water shoes. This is a popular TN swimming hole -- but on this day we had it to ourselves! The water was cool and refreshing. And hearing the waterfall while sitting on a rock with my feet in the water was oh-so-peaceful. Stop by sometime. It sure beats sitting in traffic!
