Stiniva Cove

Reviewed By Nimrod104 - Harpenden, United Kingdom

Of all the coves we have visited in Croatia over the last two months, this is high on the list. Whether you arrive by boat or trek down from the car park, it's a must. The view from half way down the trail is spectacular but be warned, it's slow going and a real hike. Wear suitable footwear. It will take you at least 30 mins. The snack bar at the bottom serves drinks and sandwiches. The water is amazingly clear with a lot of fish, fauna and rocks - great for snorkelling.

Srebrna Bay

Reviewed By mulihua

Visited in june, not crowded at all then. Sun super hot until the late afternoon, water nice, clean, and cool. The beach has a large part with white, medium sized pebbles, as well as another part with a sloped rock surface. Beach was clean and romantic, which we couldn't say about Stoncica we visited before. We visited it twice during our short stay in Vis.

Mount Hum

This is not really an attraction, it is just the highest point on the island, the view is wonderful and it is very atmospheric with its little chapel We took a picnic and watched the sunset, very few people and very peaceful.

Vis Walking Tours

Meet the beautiful Mediterranean island that lies behind the facade of a tourist destination.

Reviewed By LadaJovovic - Zagreb, Croatia

I was mesmerized by the knowledge end experience this guy have! Being a history and croatian language teacher, licenced guide but also the local resident knowing all the local "behind the scene" stories he brings the Komiža past and present so easily and, more important, on a really funny way. Being a member of the mountaineering association he deffinetily knows the paths and brings a certain feeling of safety while being on our route.
He is also an excellent english speaker!
The best part was at the top of the hill where we took some time to soak up the incredible view of the blue Adriatic Sea, Islands and Komiža bay. The best place for selfie lovers!
In the end of the route, being tiered but with smile on our faces we took a swim in the beautiful Perna beach where we tried some delicious cakes made of local carob tree!
Thank you Nikola : )

Green Cave

Reviewed By Alberto J - Warsaw, Poland

I can´t understand why they charge 50 kuna for entering here (until 2017 it was free, but Croatian Government is getting huge amounts of money and can´t stop getting more and more). Especially, compared to the great Blue Cave in Bisevo. The only thing is that you can swim inside this cave. The green is not so green sometimes, and is less impressive. From outside the green can be seen too.

Zaglav Beach

Reviewed By stojan j

All reviewes are corect and described destination as sandy beach, maybe garbage in some places, but let you soule free and explore this place. The first time you will enjoy and than you will decided to come one more time or not. The beach is almost the same as Milna beach before Zaglav beach, but you need 15 minutes walking to get there. Have a nice day. Not recommend for small children with trollers.

St Juraj’s Inlet

Reviewed By vagablondechelle - Minnetonka, Minnesota

If you arrive in Vis by ferry, the sights and sounds of St. Juraj's Inlet are the first thing to welcome you. By the ferry, there are coffee shops for locals who commute to Split each day, and tourist offices for those only coming to Vis for a day. Walk the cove into town, and you will be welcomed by bakeries, shops, restaurants, and stunning views as far as the eye can see. The waterfront shops in Komiza are a bit more charming than St. Jurja's Inlet in Vis-town, but this is still an incredible place to stroll for hours, enjoying one of the most beautiful small towns on earth.
