Perth Wake Park

Perth Wake Park is the only cable wakeboard park in Western Australia. It is located 30 minutes south of Perth city at the Mundijong Rd, Kwinana Freeway exit. The park offers a range of features including a full size main cable, a beginner specific cable, a step up pool for advanced riders, a café, pro shop and hire shop. Riders of any level can come and enjoy the park. We have lessons and introduction sessions on our specific beginner system and a main lake filled with obstacles for the advanced riders to enjoy. We offer lots of different tickets to suit you; from full season passes to maximise your time on the water to 1 and 2 hour sessions. Bring your own gear or just bring your boardshorts or bikini, all the gear can be hired at the park and basic equipment is included in your ticket price. Please see our prices page for further details. With a large veranda overlooking the main lake and a beach to relax on, Perth Wake Park is a great place to hang out and watch your friends.

Perth wake park was absolutely fantastic in every way but unless you or your kids are a slow learner. We were very lucky and had a group beginners lesson to ourselves, miraculously I picked it up first time but my usually gifted daughter struggled so basically spent most of the hour learning and almost got up with the help of the amazing instructors. My issue is that the normal group lesson size is 8 and with that amount of begginers it's would take multiple lessons, time and money for my daughter to actually get a little bit proficient. She might only get 5 or 6 practice's. Basically the group size is too big unless your a natural. The main lake was good fun, we went Xmas Eve which is apparently not so busy but is was still busy... I'd hate to go when it's packed but that said it's a great place to hang out all day so you could watch the ques and pick you times to ride maybe. The staff were all absolutely fantastic, best service in years!! I'm just apprehensive about coming again with my daughter due to the large group lessons.. it's a long way for us to come and can't afford heaps of lessons.

Perth Aqua Park

I went with a few families, a couple of toddlers and a group of 12 year olds. We had a blast! The obstacle course is quite challenging and there is quite a bit to do, a few slides for different confidence levels. The kids were able to climb the course with ease, adults need a level of fitness for lifting our heavier bodies out of the water and up the climbing frames. Lots of fun though. The life guards were very friendly and check if you were ok (especially if you were having a breather and sitting down, lol). I was impressed with the number of lifeguards around the course. Felt a bit more the next day - it's a great workout! The toddlers have their own bouncy castle on land so they don't miss out of the fun. Shade sails for the folks sitting on the side lines.

A big thank you to all the staff at Delta Force @Bonneys Perth WA for helping us celebrate a 10 year old birthday party with 16 Miniball participants. It was a faultless experience, from 11AM check-in to 4PM departure. The setting and the staff were awesome. The centre is easy to find, there is plenty of parking and staff on hand are very friendly and helpful. The registration process is painless, especially if the forms are filled in before arrival and just handed over. The equipment consists of camouflage overalls and helmets. All the gear was offered in many different sizes and very clean. The safety briefing was short and to the point, stressing the importance of safety and adherence to the rules. The guns issued are standard spring powered 'shotguns', very adequate, though the upgraded version is well worth it. The spherical paintballs are loaded in magazines that need to be emptied into the gun manually. Very easy once you know how. Beware unsteady hands. Practice over a dry barrel to prevent unwanted spillage and waste. The painballs at Miniball, do not hurt overall. A shot on the hand can sting and no close range shots are allowed! The battle fields are really amazing with several 'maps' to play, different settings, all great fun for young and not so young. We brought 13 kids and 3 adults and found it very helpful to have the adults there. Our party was issued with a marshal for the day and we were allowed to play 'private party', which made the experience really enjoyable. I would suggest to the centre to offer a free private party mode to all bookings of 16 people or more. It really made it fun and manageable. Beware the cost, and don't expect to experience it on the cheap. The entrance is $20 and 135 Miniballs are $45. Total per person is $65, plus any upgrades. It is not cheap but you get a whole day of fun compared for example with 2 sessions of karting that is easily $50-60 and over in 30 minutes. Don't be cheap, buy the party pack ($45 for 135 miniballs) and ask for a deal if you have a large party, like extra miniballs, gun upgrades for birthday boy/girl, and extra marshals, if available. Plan ahead, do your paperwork in advance, feed the kids in between sessions, coach the kids to use ammo sparingly and strategically (15-20 shots a game), then go all out on the last game/map. Bring your own food if you want to and secure a table for your party. Domino's pizza is fairly close. It was a memorable experience. Thanks again to everyone at Delta Force @Bonneys Perth. Add a video to the website and many more will want to go to experience Miniball in Perth.
