Almere (Dutch pronunciation: [ɑlˈmeːrə] ( listen)) is a planned city and municipality in the province of Flevoland, Netherlands, bordering Lelystad and Zeewolde. The municipality of Almere comprises six official areas that are the districts of Almere Stad (which is further split up into Almere Stad Oost, Almere Stad West and Almere Centrum), Almere Buiten and Almere Pampus (which is currently being designed), and the boroughs of Almere Haven, Almere Hout and Almere Poort. Four of them feature official district or borough offices. Furthermore, it also comprises the unofficial historic district and neighborhood Oostvaardersdiep, which has an active semi-self-governing community, and the planned district of Almere Oosterwold. In Almere Jungle the animals get a as close to natural as possible residency and all the love and care they need! As a care institution we offer daytime activities to people with mental and/or physical disabilities. Together with them we take care of the inside and outside of our jungle. As a botanical garden we have hundreds of exotic plant species. Because we trade plants with other botanical gardens our collection of plants has become large and variable, as an xample we have the worlds biggest water lily! In our Jungle Café you can get a homemade pie or lunch while you drift away in a hammock. In our Jungle Store you can find unique presents, plants and more! Almere Jungle, experience it!

Cat cafe and family business. Home of ten cats and visiting place of even more cat lovers. Come get a nice salad, sandwich or soup. Enjoy our lovely location and a cup of coffee or tea and don't forget to show some petting love to the felines, they can't get enough.

Had a lovely time here playing with the friendly cats. Nice spacious cafe with comfortable homely atmosphere. Food homemade and delicious. Try to visit (like we did) outside peak times Wednesdays and Saturdays when it’s quieter for you and the cats ????

It's a good place to go shopping and enjoy a day out. Most important brands are represented by a shop here. With friends and family you can enjoy a nice lunch, dinner or movie inside the shopping center.Close to public transportation, less busy than Amsterdam.
