Nature Park Biokovo

Looking up at this mountain range is simply breathtaking from all sides but once you are on top its a different world. The surrounding mountains have amazing peaks and are quite impressive to look down on. From here many of Croatia islands are visible. Parking is limited at the top so if its a busy day it may get tight. We were lucky. The road is very tight and full of switchbacks so caution and a slow drive is very necessary. Many people riding bikes and motorbikes to be careful of. There are wider sections as you get higher where you can get out and stroll. I highly recommend walking up the trail if within your abilities. The sunset is perfect from up there and sets just over the water between the islands. Half way down the mountain there is a great place to eat as well.

The service was excellent. Ana made the time at the wellness spa even more pleasant with her lovely customer service. I can’t wait to come back!
