Rosebud Pier

Rosebud Pier is located opposite Jetty Road and extends about 300 metres into the water. The shipping channel comes in quite close to the end of the pier before heading out into the bay making every stroll along the pier interesting. Whether you are an experienced fisherman or just trying your luck, fishing is very popular from the pier. There is a wonderful new all abilities playground suitable for toddlers to young teens. This is a perfect spot for a family BBQ or picnic overlooking the safe swimming beach and pier. Public berthing is available on Rosebud Pier for a maximum of 48 hours (vessels should be attended at all times). Jumping and diving off the pier and other structures is prohibited for public safety. There are shallow areas and often unexpected submerged objects. Ensure dogs are kept on lead at all times and clean up after your dog.

Love it here great walk and the views are fantastic, we walk down here everyday as we are staying in seas the day holiday home, been for a few picnics down in this area, it’s a perfect place for a family walk out, our grandkids love it, watching the fish while out at the end off the pier and the family’s fishing together, lovely place

Rye Pier

Lovely walk and beautiful place to take photos of the sunset. Some boards are uneven so take care with little or older people. Lots of people fishing on the night we went and they were entertaining. Water is clear and highly recommend a walk down to the end.

Dromana Pier

Reviewed By chrk888 - Melbourne, Australia

Dromana is an awesome place for vacation for couples, families or just by yourself. The “village” feel is very inviting and there are so many excellent dining venues / options here, serving top quality cuisine and dining experiences of comparable standard to other popular venues in Melbourne. The pier is located right at the heart of Dromana. It is beautiful and from the pier, you can easily walk on the walking track along the beach. Unlike Rosebud, Rye, Sorrento or Portsea, one can easily enjoy the continuous and spectacular view of the bay and Dromana beach in your walk. There’re also many seats dotted along the walking track that you can rest and enjoy the view of Dromana Bay.

Mornington Pier

There is so much for a visitor to do in Mornington, and one of the highlights is the Pier. It's long, wide, and the home to a number of fishing boats. We didn't do any fishing there, but it's obviously a popular spot to wet a line. The views across the Bay are noteworthy.

Staying down at Portsea for the week and took the young teenagers down the pier numerous times for a fish. Plenty of squid being caught and we caught a few Banjo Sharks. Beautiful spot with cafe Le Cuchin right there for a coffee.
