Reviewed By Alexandra_SarbuAlthough the pension is beautiful and clean, located in a quiet area with beautiful scenery, we will not return here and we will not recommend anyone else. Rooms ok, clean linen, heat, soap and shower gel in the bathroom, nothing to complain about. The boy at the reception / waiter does not know how to answer to good morning, goodbye or thank you. Visibly irritated when I bothered him from smoke break so I could check out. I recommend a change of profession, the one in this field does not suit him ... What was very annoying is the bill paid at the restaurant. Cream and a few slices of bread were brought to the table, without being requested. Everyone at the table assumed that they were included in the price of the soup and because I consumed them, I didn't say anything when I saw them on the bill. But also on the bill appeared 4 hot peppers that I did NOT ask for and they NEVER reached the table and we were charged for 21 !!! of slices of bread in the conditions in which we were 4 people and in that bowl in which bread came there are not even 10 slices ... At what reviews we read, we do not expect to have such "Romanianisms". The food that is so praised is actually very dubious. Half of what appeared on the menu was not actually available. The Radauti soup looked like a thin bowl of water, with some hard and gummy chicken strips as if from the chicken left 3 days ago. The pancakes with cheese had no sugar at all, the pork neck was opinca, the lava cake is actually a chocolate muffin, no trace of lava ... We waited more than 20 minutes for them to come and give us the menus, the food came one by one and for this reason each diner ate separately then we waited another 20 minutes for the bill to come and then another 10 minutes so we could pay it. And because no one bothered to bring us a POS, we had to pay at the reception. At the next table a larger group complained about the same dishes brought without being asked and the long waiting time for a trivial neck with french fries. Too bad the location and luck that you can eat elsewhere in Tg Neamt, with less money and 10 times better

Reviewed By ludortravelClean rooms, very nice staff. There is also a restaurant, with a quite extensive menu and a decent bar. The location is good, few minutes driving from Durau (where some hiking trails start) and close to Bicaz lake.

Reviewed By EugenCThis is one of the best placed I've stayed in in Durau. It's close to the ski slope, as well as to the Durau monastery (with features some awesome mural paintings). The food in the restaurant was good, my little girl was more than delighted about the schnitzel. The rooms are OK in size. Also, room cleanliness was not an issue, on the contrary. We liked that the shower was separate from the bathroom, at least in the room where we stayed. The balcony was quite large, which, if the weather permits, is a nice place to sit and enjoy the view and the sounds that come from the forest nearby. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms (there are smoke alarms on the ceiling), but I noticed it is permitted on the balconies. As a negative, the handle of the bathroom window was broken, which made opening / closing the window a challenge. Also, the opening mechanism of the small window from the shower room was not functioning properly. These things should be checked every once in a while, as such malfunctions are not fit for a 4 star location. All in all, the experience here was a positive one. The staff were more that kind, polite and always ready to assist. Thank you for everything!

Reviewed By daniellam1404Avoid the location as much as you can! Breakfast is a joke, 2 lei a slice of bread, 2 lei a teaspoon (literally!) Of jam to buy, 2 lei a "portion of butter" so small that you only get half a slice of bread, 16 lei a coffee. Going over this, when we wanted to go to the pool (50 lei entrance for adults, 30 lei entrance for children), I found out that "anyone who enters the pool, even if he does not use it, must pay". Since the children are not allowed alone at the pool, we wanted 1 adult to enter the premises just to supervise them, WITHOUT using in any way the pool, sunbeds or anything else there. It was not possible, the adult had to pay 50 lei just because he breathed the same air as the pool. At this price, you do not even receive towels, you are required to come with them from home. The cameras look much worse than the presentation images, and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. I made the mistake of lifting the toilet lid and it was terrible. The light in the room is diffused, probably just to hide the mess. Since the toilet paper was running out from the moment we arrived, I asked for it to be supplemented, but I didn't receive it until I left. Although we were told from the moment we arrived that we could not use the billiard room later than 24:00 "because there are guest who want to rest", but there was no problem that all Saturday in the hotel restaurant takes place a baptism party with the manele playing at maximum that even the walls were shaken.

Reviewed By Catalin TVery nice plates, tasty and appealing.... Staff pleasant and polite. Prices more than affordable I could say even cheap! The mix thay have with different sorts of meat are simply amazing. I didn't stay in but resto very good.

Reviewed By SipicfA pesar de haber concretado con la propietaria que llegaríamos tarde del aeropuerto y que nos interesaba la media pensión cuando llegamos casí a las diez de la noche nos dicen que no es posible la cena. Tampoco quisieron cambiarnos moneda para ir a otro sitio a cenar. Aunque si nos cobraron en euros la pensión. Mal muy mal trato.

Reviewed By SandraS13915I had the same problem as the person who wrote the review before. There was a party with loud music. When we checked in the recepcionist told us that at midnight it would finish, but it is almost 2 am and it still goes on. Total disrespect for the costumers. Avoid!!
