The 9 Best Paint & Pottery Studios in Zagreb, Central Croatia

October 15, 2021 Alida England

Zagreb got its start as two medieval fortress towns atop hills overlooking the Sava River, and was reborn in the Baroque period as center of business, perfectly located on routes connecting Central Europe to the Adriatic Sea. These days, Zagreb is the heart of contemporary Croatia’s culture, art, sports, and academics, but its history is not forgotten. The unique blend of medieval towers, 19th century palaces, open-air markets, and ancient cathedrals, make Zagreb the perfect city to explore.

Creative Studio Tomiceva

Creative Center Tomiceva emerged as an idea between an artist and host, interior designer. The main thought was to give an amazing place on the open air to the different artists where they can share their knowledge with guests that would like to learn something new. This is a relaxing experience you will remember forever and yet bring present with you made all by yourself.

If you want a meditative stress free experience where you will be encouraged to be creative, this is a place for you. I had an amazing time in the studio, where I left my stress on the door and had a relaxing 2 and a half hours. Martina is such an amazing teacher, she explained to us how does clay work, how do you work with it, and what tools to use. We practiced two methods of making pots. Martina gave us some instructions but gave us a space to be creative and express ourselves. I loved it!
