Comfort Maple Conservation Area

Reviewed By R8506AOlindam

We visit this tree periodically when in the area to admire its majesty, usually bringing a drink or snacks. We sit for awhile, sometimes silently basking in its presence. The tree is special to us as we know the descendants of the original Comfort family settlers. Each time we visit we notice how well the tree has survived our changing weather. It is wonderful that the local conservationists are caring for the tree to prolong its survival. It is a massive tree, well worth seeing and documenting for the history and geography archives.
