Reviewed By Sarah WVery nice & clean hotel. Staff was very friendly & helped us with maps and directions. Breakfast offered a lot of options! Within walking distance to Purdue campus and dinner choices. Definitely would stay again! Only negative was the walls were thin & the floors were creaky; we had someone in the room above us pacing all night long and there was no way to not hear it. But any hotel would have been the same.

Reviewed By mosesd984This hotel continues to not offer services claiming its due to the pandemic. All the restaurants around there are open with no masks. I would never stay here again. Hilton should pull their license. Terribly run hotel. Do not stay here. Waste of money.

Reviewed By Trevor PWe forgot about the time change when driving in and showed up a bit late. Staff were super friendly, checked us in with no issue. Room was ok, breakfast not too bad. Nice area as well and a good rate.

Reviewed By TravelWest812I would have given 10 stars if there were that many available. The Whittaker Inn is a hidden gem in West Lafayette, IN. The location is perfect. It is far enough out of town and off the beaten path to be peaceful, yet within 10-15 minutes of the Purdue campus. The Inn is family owned, offering excellent personalized service. I cannot begin to convey how pleased we were with the cleanliness. On our arrival, we were greeted and given a tour of the Inn by Elizabeth, owner. The rooms are designed using furnishings of different countries. We stayed in the India room. It offered a couch, chair, and king size bed. The large walk in shower featured a digitally controlled spa shower with overhead rain shower, handheld shower unit, and two body jets. It was amazing. The Whittaker Inn offers a complimentary breakfast cooked to order. They also serve dinner by reservation. Chef Andrew, owner, is exceptional at his craft. The food was delicious and very pleasing to the eye! When you stay at the Inn, plan to eat dinner there. Make sure to order the crab cakes! They are the best I have ever eaten! I have nothing negative to say about our stay. We will be making reservations to stay here on future visits to Purdue.

Reviewed By joshuahL7061TKTo see your child graduate from Purdue, you too can be price gouged for $603 a night (!!!) and stay in this god awful hotel. We would have been better off (and cleaner) sleeping in our car. They should be ashamed of themselves. No different than selling plywood for $100/sheet during a hurricane. Ok, I get it - demand increases prices. But seriously I thought for the $603 we'd at least have a room we would be comfortable in. This place made my skin crawl. The room smelled of very strong cigarette smoke. Wallpaper peeling off the walls. Bathroom was so dirty I told our kids not to shower! We slept on top of the beds. Wouldn't dream of going under those sheets. This hotel fit both the extremes - most expensive place I've ever stayed AND the most disgusting.

Reviewed By P9001XBtracybA busy parent's weekend stay near campus and the Campus Inn met our expectations. If you are expecting a 4 or 5 star for this price, near campus, find another place. We enjoyed the location, the parking, ice machine, the mini fridge, and A/C were in good working order. Our only complaint were the pillows. The pillows are VERY thin. We flew in, so could not bring our own. If you are driving, bring your own. We asked for 2 extra pillows at the front desk since there were 2 people in our room. They could only accommodate one extra pillow. The Starbucks is a close walk, along with a few other restaurants.

Reviewed By tofunChecked in, went to room, DIRTY TOWEL still hanging on back of bathroom door from whoever stayed in the room last. Made me feel that if that was left, then odds are housekeeping just re~made the bed without changing the sheets. Was offered a different room. Second room, hairs all over the bathroom, in sink, on toilet seat, in shower and on the floor. We had family staying in another room, in their bathroom, urine on the floor around toilet and black streaks coming from under the rim (from lack of cleaning) and a ring at the water line in bowl. We went to front desk and asked if they would please come clean our room...all they did was remove the towels we had used and remake the bed. They DID NOT CHANGE THE SHEETS, DID NOT LEAVE US ANY CLEAN TOWELS OR WASHCLOTHS, DID NOT SWEEP/CLEAN THE BATHROOM. When we checked out, I informed them that their housekeeping staff was making them lose business because we will never stay there again and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. :(
