OK hotel, great staff
Reviewed By Ellen AWe got a room at the Ibis in Vienne at the last minute while on a road trip. The hotel was what we expected for a budget hotel, OK but plain. But the staff, at reception and at the bar/breakfast area, were all outstandingly friendly and helpful. We had a quick dinner of charcuterie, and the breakfast the next morning was very good. The courtyard was a nice outdoor space to eat and relax.

An old coaching inn dating back to 1750. In the very center of town. Near all historical monuments. Not far from the train station. We have family rooms too. All modern amenities. Buffet breakfast. Vienne is a Roman town and famous for its two week jazz festival in July, attracting lots of famous artists!

Aux Jardins de L'Isle is located 3 km from the centre of Vienne and just 5 km from the Cote-Rotie vineyards. It offers contemporary studios with an LCD TV and wired internet access. The studios are made up of one living space, with a large double-sized bed and an LCD TV. The open-plan kitchen area is complete with hotplates, a microwave and a dishwasher. Reviewed By TersparisWell equipped studio apartment, conveniently located near motorway and N7. Supermarket nearby, as well as petrol station. The road is a bit noisy during the day but reasonably quiet at night. The bed does not convert to a sofa but is good quality. There is enough space to walk around the room and a large dining table. Parking in the courtyard is a plus.

Reviewed By REwensFirstly I had to "break-in" over a broken fence at 1am to check-in as the side gate was padlocked closed. The check-in computer did not recognise my name or reservation number so after 6 attempts I called the emergency number. The reception lady came to let our car in and told us that the computer was down so we'd have to be checked in manually by her. She wanted €2 extra for parking (Nobody would have walked here!!), and finally we got our key and our room. The noise from the traffic and trains, plus the stress of check in (I thought I'd be sleeping in the car with my family that night) meant that I got little sleep. It's the worst Premiere Classe I've ever stayed in and it's in desperate need of a renovation. I will never stay here again.

Reviewed By Rob AWe found the accommodation a bit quirky but it was warm and comfortable if a bit basic. The kitchen had the bare minimum of features and could do with some new cutlery and crockery. It's convenient for the town centre with its historic sites and shops. The walk from the station is about 20 minutes via some quite steep steps - fine for our family but could be challenging for anyone less able. There is a frequent bus service though which stops opposite. Catherine, the delightful owner, was friendly and helpful and was very interesting to talk to and very knowledgeable about Vienne, particularly the Roman remains.

The guest house is nestled in woodland, up a small, hilly road a little way out of Vienne itself, it was completely re-built by Edouard and Pascal, the owners. The room was very nice, clean and bright with a good bathroom but the absolute lifesaver was the fantastic air con, it was magnificent. Breakfast was very good, with a great choice for such a small establishment but the absolute best thing about the place and the thing which will ensure we return is Edouard and Pascal, I don’t think it would be possible to get more genial, welcoming and charming hosts.
