Nemo Inn

fantastic holiday

Reviewed By E8325DTalicej

The hotel is very nice and it is located about 10 minutes from the beach. The rooms are cosy and they are equipped with the A/C unit. Water, tea and coffee were available throughout the entire day. Everybody was extremely helpful, especially Moosa. We have enjoyed snorkelling a lot, especially during the trips to see Manta rays, Whale sharks or a deserted island. We have enjoyed our holiday and we hope we will return to this hotel very soon.

Kuri Inn

The guest house "Kuri", has a laid-back feeling with a cozy, secluded patio, comfortable hammocks in the shadows of the palm trees and lounge chairs for sunbathing - and the beach just less than a minute's walk away. The guest house kitchen offers local and European cuisine in the outdoor dining area. As in most of the Eastern countries, friendly relation and good welcome are more valued than signed papers and stamped documents. And most important, perhaps, is a mutual respect for each other. Respectfully, we ask you, too dear, guests, to follow and respect those traditions, which historically hold by Maldivians. On residential islands cannot drink alcohol, and for the ladies being on the public areas as well when sunbathing and swimming, shoulder and hips need to be covered. These rules, of course, do not belong to the nearby uninhabited islands, where guests are free to relax as they want. Except that, we ask you not to forget about the cleanliness of the unique nature of the area and not to destroy it, leaving the garbage. There are 4 comfortable rooms, each with private bathroom and WC facilities, AC, ceiling fen and mini-fridge, a spacious common lounge area with library, comfortable sofas and Wireless Internet connection. The "Kuri Inn" guest house is situated in the picturesque fishing village of Omadhoo in the heart of Ari Atoll, a clean and friendly local island. In contrast to the major resorts, on Omadhoo you have the opportunity to experience the real Maldives island life and traditions. General Information The island is about 3 sq. kilometers with under 1000 residents. Maldivians are reluctant to leave the territory of its atolls, so islands like Omadhoo have fully preserved the ancient way of life and traditions of its nation, carefully passed down from generation to generation. The house reef surrounding the island is pure and innocent with great live corals and amazing marine life, perfect for s norkeling and scuba diving. The island's southwest beach side ends with an extraordinary, beautiful sand narrow. Almost 60 % of the island is covered with tropical vegetation such as breadfruit and coconut palms. The western part of the island could be called a real 'jungle' due to a rich abundance of large, banyan trees and tropical palms.

Amazing island

We spent 3 days in Omadhoo in 2020 January. This is a really nice island with a huge and really nice turist beach. When we arrived with the public ferry the guys from Kuri Inn already waiting for us in the port. We got a cozy room, Wifi was great. The breakfast was amazing, I loved the maldivian mixed tuna-coconut thing. The all staff was really kind. The dinner is a little bit expensive but worth it. When we checked out we paid in cash. After few days there was some problem and the agoda made the payment in our bank account also. So finally we paid twice. We wrote the guys and they were so kind to send the money back to us. I really recommend this place!!! Tibor from Hungary

Dream house

Reviewed By Natallia N

The guesthouse became our second home with very attentive staff. Our family of 5 was enjoying every minute of stay there. We had very tasty breakfasts, a dream trip to mantas and the best reef house ever. When my mother-in-law accidentally hurt her leg the staff did their best to help her: got the ice, aid kit with ointment and bandages, found a crunch and were available 24/7 for extra help. Highly recommended!

Viaggio di nozze alle Maldive

Reviewed By JennyT85Cr

-Jenny e Luca-

I recommend it, the best choice :-)

This guesthouse is great and exceptional (I can compare, I was in another guesthouse on the same island a year ago), Our whole stay, three weeks, was wonderful. Everything you need is available, the lower price compared to other guesthouses is exceptional, also the large front garden, closed off from the surroundings, where you can stay during the day and evening, and the seamless wifi. The beach is a few steps from the guesthouse. We ordered dinner on site in addition to breakfast and were delighted, we enjoyed the local traditional dishes, fish but who wouldn't be into fish or local food, there is enough choice of classic ones and first and foremost everyone in the extended family is so nice and friendly that everyone agrees on everything. This is probably the best thing ever, the extremely welcoming family atmosphere, I still miss everyone humanly. I can only warmly recommend it.

The manager is not fair, prices are higher than in another places, with many different extra taxes on the invoice, manager tries to ask different amount than you agree. The trips are very expensive and when you do not want to attend them, the manager is very unfriendly to you.

Omadhoo Inn

The story of Omadhoo Inn begins as many good stories do – on a far-flung island, in a tropical sea. It is here, on Omadhoo Island, that three brothers, Faisal, Fathih and Fazeel, spent their childhood days. Hours were passed swimming in the lagoon, fishing with their father, and chasing crabs on the beach. Life was simple and good, and days drifted past like the boats on the horizon. Although these brothers are now fully grown, life has barely changed on the island. Every islander now has a mobile phone and wifi, but our days are still spent on the shoreline, and our front doors are still left unlocked for neighbours to pop in throughout the day. Life in Omadhoo is lived slowly. Here, every day revolves around what’s important: family, friendship and fish! And now we, those three brothers from the story, are on a mission to share this way of life with the world. Having never forgotten the bliss of our childhood days, we have built Omadhoo Inn for travellers from around the world to experience that same carefree way of life. In Omadhoo, guests can see the real Maldives, away from the expensive resorts. In Omadhoo, you’ll get to live amongst the islanders; to wake with them at morning light, to run the sandy roads to the beach with the local children, and to catch your own dinner, shoulder to shoulder with the island’s master fishermen. Nobody knows Omadhoo better than us. We know the trees with the coolest shade, the coco palms with the sweetest nuts, and the spots with the best view of the evening sun. Our story is one of family, and of tradition, and we’d like to invite you to become a part of it.

Great experience of Maldives

Reviewed By josipm650

As somebody who combined guesthouse stay at Omandhoo Inn and afterwards went to resort, I can only say Omadhoo Inn all the way. Being guest of our host Cartoon and his crew, we trully seen what Maldives are. Omadhoo is great island, still with small amonth of tourist and undeveloped(in positive way) so it is perfect for someone who is seeking peace and relaxation. Whole Omadhoo Inn crew did maximum to fill all of our needs, we really got personalized vacation which you can only get if the owner is preset and visible, and this is where is real difference to resorts. Yes, in resort is all eye candy and is really nice too, but it is not authentic. Being in resort in Maldives, Jamaica, Costa Rica or Thailand is pretty much the same. I recommend all of their excursions: desert island overnight, desert island daily trip, live bait fishing, manta and whaleshark, turtle trips... Cartoon also arranged scuba diving with Areef who is holiding diving center on Omadhoo, which was excellent. They also did Maldives night for us with whole Maldivian band where they sing and dance traditional style. Last night beach dinner under candles and stars. Overall you really get value for your money. Thank you for all guys, especially Sunny and the Chef who made great barbacue fish. Keep it up.
