Reviewed By 248addyfFirst thing was the website said $149 then at the last second threw on an $88 charge that I didn’t see until after I clicked book. Called right away and said there was nothing they could do. Next they took my credit card and said they weren’t going to charge it, just needed it in case. Charged it $50. Then we found a pair of underwear in the room, had to pack all our stuff up and move rooms, no compensation for the inconvenience.

Reviewed By TravelMan1234567The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, everything was good. Staff were nice. The room was small but this is to be expected from a roadside motel. Close to downtown and river walkway, so that was nice. I'd definitely stay there again.

Reviewed By Bdoyle13I am utterly shocked how we were treated at this hotel. I grew up in Fernandina my entire life but most recently moved to Jacksonville (about 45 minutes away). My husband and I were staying for my birthday so we wouldnt have to cab ride all the back home after dinner. When checking into the hotel (I booked online as a rewards member). The front desk agent looked at my ID and asked if “they” told me about the “locals deposit”. There is no where in booking online does it mention an additional deposit. I asked her what exactly that meant. She explains to me that there is a deposit of 100 dollars for being from the area and it is removed after you check out. I starred at her in shock. I had to get her to explain it to me again. She said “they” believe “locals” are more than likely to mess up the room than out of town guests. Excuse me, what! I was so insulted and felt extremely uncomfortable. I’ve worked for big brand hotels before and never have I ever experienced something like that. So when I checked out , I asked when I would have that 100 dollar hold off of my account . She said it can take 3 to 15 business days!! I’m sorry, what?? That is an extremely long time to have money on hold for. All hotels hold your card on file for “incidentals”. That’s not an unique idea. But to be told I was being charged an additional deposit simply because I’m a “local”. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

Masterson's motel is one of the best places to stay in Napanee. With affordable and updated rooms with microwave, refridgrator, cofee makker, iron, free continental breakfast, , free high speed internet, over 200 TV channels and other services. Always an enjoyable stay, your comfort is our concern.

Reviewed By chrissiedxbWe stayed on a holiday long weekend and felt the price was hugely inflated. The lock on our door was broken, we could not secure it from the outside. The toilet seat and toilet roll holder were broken. The bath tap was hanging off, The shower had not been cleaned, there was old soap and spiders in the tub. The carpet was dirty and stained. We would not recommend staying here, the front desk just said thank you for bringing it to our attention!

Everything in Napanee was booked, for our chosen date. As silly as it was, we decided to take a chance by just pulling into the parking lot of the Royal Napanee Inn. The Gentleman at the Front Desk ( Sorry, we didn't get your name ) was extremely Friendly , making us feel welcome the moment we walked in the Lobby. He assured us that he did indeed have the exact vacancy we were looking for. We were able to check in early, unload our stuff in the room and were finally able to carry on with our trip the The Festival ( Cannabis Cup )...I think he was quite surprised when we returned that we were extremely quiet ( sat outside chatting till the wee morning hours ) and relaxed ( Gee, I wonder why...hahaha ) The room, which appeared to be brand new ...was huge, extremely clean,comfortable and peaceful. Location is far enough from the 401, that the noise from the Highway, was virtually non existant. To the Owner / Gentleman working at the Front Desk...Thank You 1000 times over for making our stay so pleasant and possible. I would also like to Thank You for being curious and non judgemental when you asked about the type of Festival we were attending. Told you that us old Hippies wouldn't be a bother ! Our new Go To place to stay, in Napanee !! Cheers !! :)

Closest motel to bon echo provincial national park with fantastic fishing and kayaking. Estimated 5000 lakes around sand beach . Motel is on Hwy41 right across from gas station. Amazing opportunity for ice fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, atv’ing, boating and motorcycling getaways!!!

Reviewed By karensA8034UXThree couples booked one room each: one couple staying for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday), the others for 1 night (Saturday). There was no water available at all on Friday so no showers or washing; water restored by Saturday night, but no offer for compensation or reimbursement. There are no dining or snacking options except for the gas station/convenience store across the highway. The rooms were clean but 'clinical' - felt like an old institution. There is NO cell phone reception at all in the rooms, poor reception in hallway - you have to go outside. The exterior is kind of sad and grim, especially considering the incredible area the Inn is located in - nothing nice to see but highway, gas station and someone's home behind the motel. We were all checked out in plenty of time early Sunday morning, but my SIL discovered that she'd been billed for an additional night's stay on Monday! We are still trying to get in touch with the Inn but they do not seem to answer their phone or emails. I regret booking there at all and that I am unable to recommend this place to anyone.
