Has an indoor heated pool, hot tub, and they even provide towels for the pool and hot tub use. The breakfast was sufficient and tasty. I would definitely stay here again if I was passing through and needed to stop.

I was debating pushing through and driving another 3 hours home but this place made me thankful that I decided to stop. Just a small rave about the bathroom. I love the fact they have actual bottles of shampoo & conditioner. My hair is long & thick those little sample bottles at hotels DON’T even work for me. So this help yourself to what you need was so perfect! Shower is huge with glass doors (not that yuck usual cloth shower curtain at most places).

Reviewed By LittleRockcruiserWe stayed here one night on the way to Yellowstone and one night on the way back. We paid $99 plus tax. The first time we had room 225 on second floor with a king bed. This room is much nicer than room 112 on first floor with two queen beds. Both have comfortable beds. Other pros - rooms are spacious and have a mini fridge and microwave, single cup coffee maker. Location is good, easy access to interstate. There’s an Arby’s next door and a gas station. The furnishings in the king room are in great shape, everything clean. Room 112 has obviously been used more often and has visible wear. Felt less clean bc of the wear, the faucet leaked and there were flies in the room. Also someone had opened the window and I didn’t realize it until the next morning but the room was stuffy bc of it and the ac ran all the time. Cons- unfriendly staff - the first time we checked in we were greeted with “You got a reservation?” No smiles or welcome. The second time was pretty much the same. Continental breakfast is provided but pretty weak. The exterior has low curb appeal. The ac unit is loud but cools well. We didn’t notice much noise from other guests. Bottom line-I’d stay there again preferably in 225.

Stay here only as a last resort
Reviewed By C CI used to stay at Motel 6's regularly MANY years ago when they were a new chain. I try to avoid them now because something has gone very wrong, It's as if they haven't been updated since they were first built!!! But we were in a tiny western Kansas town and needed a cheap easy-access room for the night so we stopped. The night staff was very personable. The room-----two beds that were bowed in and I could feel the springs were miserable. The bathroom--the shower head was not more than a gentle sprinkler and the water took a LONG time to get hot. The shower stall needed replacing. The towels were so pitiful (VERY rough and small) that I would've had them as garage rags. The towels were stored in a wood wall rack instead of the usual wire rack. It was filthy in each slot. Good idea to remove carpeting and have Pergo floors, but they didn't look clean. I don't understand why Motel 6 regional directors don't insist on updates and better quality. This is a chain!!

Excellent Stay
Reviewed By PB2011We where traveling through Kansas with no intentions of stopping for the night, but we ended up stopping in goodland Kansas. The first hotel we stopped at would not allow pets. We did see a sign on the interstate that advertised Roadway Inn pets allowed so we went there. We noticed the outside does need a little upkeep but we had to stay somewhere so went into office. The manager Heath was extremely helpful and kind. Heath got us our room and even walk down with us to insure we where satisfied with the room. The room was outstanding clean, water pressure amazing for shower, direct tv,internet and best of all pets welcome. One other bonus about this stay was a steak house right in the parking lot. While traveling it was nice to have a good meal and it was very good. This place is a winner reasonable price for family’s traveling anywhere near Goodland

Reviewed By katherineo_13Headboards are not cleaned (I'm one of those who travel with my own cleaning wipes). Shower went really hot when someone next door turned on water. No trash can in bathroom. Couldn't get TV to work and it seemed the only way to contact front desk was to walk downstairs - I was too tired. The owners are SUPER nice and you can tell they're trying and updating, but I probably won't stay here again on my way 'north' or 'south'. Left too early in the morning to see what the breakfast was.

Reviewed By Explorer29301914700OYO Hotels are old Econolodge hotels, so the facilities are repackaged and not at all new or updated. Where do I start with the Goodland hotel? First, it is really dated and smells of old hotels gone by. One of the back entrances is not locked and the other is boarded shut. Perhaps they are just refurbishing things, but if so they have a lot to do. Wires were falling out of ceiling tiles which seems unsafe. The pool was cloudy blue and you couldn’t see more than a foot or two below the surface, so we didn’t feel comfortable swimming there. The hot tub was closed and was literally green. Wow, this was so run down. We really regretted having a poolside room, as other guests played, yelped, and screamed until 11pm, which was when the pool area closed. We won’t be staying here again, nor other OYO hotels.
