It was beautiful coming into Picton on the Celebrity Solstice and we were glad we got up to see the ship dock here. It is a lovely small town & there was an outdoor market the day we were there.

Tirohanga Track

Reviewed By AnikaK007 - Christchurch, New Zealand

We walked this track one evening in December and really enjoyed it (apart from the short hail storm at the beginning). It's a somewhat steep track up from the Garden Terrace end and you'll want shoes that give you some traction (no flipflops/jandals). There's a really nice view of town and the bay from the top and the walk down toward town isn't bad. According to my Garmin, it was a 3.15 km hike (not round trip) that took us 1:15 and we were walking fairly slowly.

War Memorial

Reviewed By WayneAP - City of Greater Geelong, Australia

A fitting tribute to those men who gave their life for a better future for others. Some may say it’s in a strange location but considering ships sailed out of this port, I believe that the organisation got it right. A beautiful backdrop that softens what to many is a somber memorial. “Lest we forget”
