This is a great way to enjoy the power of nature of the beauty of Frenchman’s Bay which is off of Bar Harbor. Just watch the boat pass by or see the seals jumping in the water. This can be a very relaxing way to enjoy your trip to Bar Harbor. There are also many companies that will give you a Bay ride.

Free parking and entrance! Just choose to walk or rent a bike. I walked because I love to stop and take pictures of the wildflowers, lake, and rock. The trees have such beauty with the sun reflecting off their leaves. It is truly tranquil and it's a level path around the lake but if 6 miles is too much for you then just walk or bike what you can.

We went here to walk around the pond and find the bridges . Wonderful area the pond is so big and clean . I walked the carriage road near the pond lots of hills . Then we bought our bikes here to ride the carriage roads great exercise up and down the hills . We had to try the pop overs and they were so good I made them at home yum after a long walk have some pop overs

Bubble pond is nestled between Cadillac Mountain and Pemetic Mountain. One of the nicer carriage roads goes right past the parking area and there are trail heads up both Cadillac and Pemetic nearby. The photo op is very similar to the iconic Jordan Pond view of the Bubbles with the rocks in the foreground. The parking area is very small, but the Island Explorer has a stop right there. We always ask someone to take a photo of us sitting on a particular rock as we gaze up the pond.
