Dive Bottle were fantastic during our stay on Les Saintes in August 2014. I wanted two of my teenagers (aged 19 and 17) to try diving for the first time, and they had a fabulous experience with Dive Bottle. Laurence and Philippe were so lovely! They clearly take safety as the first priority, and you know you are in very competent hands. They give excellent advice (their English is fine), and at no time did I worry about my kids. While they dived (one by one with Laurence - this is a very personalised service) I snorkelled and could see amazing fish, coral and sealife just below the surface - the divers saw even more obviously. I'm very happy that my two had an excellent first experience of diving. The tea and madeleines were also very welcome. And the setting is absolutely stunning, just out of this world. Many thanks to Laurence and Philippe. I very much hope we will be back!

Pisquettes Plongee

We booked a dive with Pisquettes Plongee, a dive shop on Terre-en-Haut, Les Saintes, Guadeloupe. We very much appreciated that the staff could speak English with us, in booking the dive and as we headed out.
We had a great time. The dive site, "la Baleine" was fantastic with a large and diverse population of fish, and with many, many corals and sponges. The dive master, Claire, was very patient and helpful, and pointed out many interesting sea creatures.
After the dive, the dive boat took us into the anchorage, where a mother dolphin and her calf were swimming. We got to go back into the water with snorkels and fins to swim with the dolphins. A rare and wonderful experience.

Plage de Pompierre

Of the Beaches we visited in Terre de Haut, and even compared to all those that we visited in Guadeloupe, this was our favorite. The calm waters of the bay, protected by the reef were shallow enough for even non-swimmiers to enjoy the abundant fish. But there is enough water to swim and float above the colorful seabed. I was able to follow an octopus for awhile, which was a thrill.
There is a sandbar that almost connects the right side of the beach to an island, which can be explored (bring your water shoes).
The main part of the beach has picnic tables, but no longer the nice shade roofs depicted in the photograph. These were mostly destroyed by the 2017 hurricane, and the remnants were being taken down while we were visiting (presumably to be rebuilt). City workers were also working diligently to clear the beach of invasive seaweeds (sargassum) which evidently can be so bad as to require closing of the beach.
Most people arrived at the beach with their rental scooters and electric carts. Some are dropped off by the day tour minibuses. We walked from town in about 20 minutes; not too hilly.
Close to the beach there is a food truck and a restaurant.

Crawen

The view of the bay is great and the water is nice, but the beach is almost gone. I was told hurricane Maria almost destroyed this beach and I agree with it, the sandy beach is three quarters gone and there are lots of stones around. The local authorities cleaned this area they best they could but unfortunately it might take a while until will recover.

Clear Blue Caraibes

The Clear Blue Caraibes Econautique Center offers you an excursion to explore the seabed by transparent canoe or bicycle. A great adventure! See reef fish, corals and take exclusive photos .... _ You hoped one day to see under the water without getting wet? This dream has now become reality. Indeed, a new boat has appeared in the French West Indies: the molokini, a fully transparent canoe. But at Les Saintes, we wanted to take the experience a step further and would like to introduce you to what is called "turquoise tourism". This form of tourism is defined as participation in green tourism activities on blue water. In other words, observe, without disrupting, underwater ecosystems. We found, to do this, the means - the molokini, the hanauma and the biosub - and the place - one of the most beautiful bay in the world, the bay of Saintes. The molokini and the hanauma The product comes directly from Hawaii and was designed by architect Brian Trenhall. Made of polymer, this canoe is transparent, light and resistant. Ideal for underwater observation. An educational excursion for 7 to 77 year olds A unique and pleasant activity, because the molokini, the hanauma and the biosub are in the transparency allows to admire and to identify corals and fishes sitting in their boat. The boats are stable, and comfortable thanks to its adjustable seats. The purpose of this excursion is not to compete, but to contemplate. A turquoise activity The bay of Saintes is part of the most beautiful club of the world. Imagine going in search of corals, wreckage and exotic fish, and take exclusive photos of the seabed without getting wet or disturbing them. The molokini, the hanauma and the biosub allow to navigate to magical places, shallow and hardly accessible. It is from inside the "aquarium" that the man discovers this spectacle of a preserved fauna and a flora. "The underwater depths are not static and change as each cyclone passes," said Christian Thummen, "some species are becoming rarer, corals too, but their richness and diversity remain impressive. We must go to Les Saintes to find the equivalent. »Christian Thummen, The underside of the Pigeon Islands (reserve Cousteau), Destination Guadeloupe, no 22, March April May, 2006 - With the Molokini, we can not hope for a more environmentally friendly way to make people aware of the protection of fauna and submarine flora while introducing them to this wonderful sport of kayaking. The arrival on the island of transparent vessels fits perfectly with the concerns and the constant desire to develop the green tourism of its founders: a couple of Quebec entrepreneurs based in Saintes - a professor of communication and ecologist. She can compete in a dragon boat and canoe trips. The other is an organizer and a designer in the soul. He set up a project to clean up the St. Lawrence River in Quebec for 22,000 young people (ONET'85). An activity that adapts to the wind The club is located in the fortified walls of one of the oldest military barracks in the West Indies. Its activities are aimed at sports enthusiasts as well as admirers of the seabed. Depending on the weather, the guide establishes routes offering the maximum chance of observing underwater life. Special price for groups of 10 people or more.

This family-owned business is a delight. They provide glass-bottomed Kayaks built in Hawaii, which is a great way to see underwater life if you don't want to snorkel. The people at Clear Blue Caraibes couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. They are from Canada, which means they are comfortable in both English and French. Les Saintes is one of our favorite places to visit, and we love to go kayaking when we're there!.

Rented an Electric Cart for a little over 5 hours during a day trip to Les Saintes a couple of weeks ago. The price was 50 Euro for the day with a Credit Card and/or Debit Card hold of 650.00 Euro.
Services was swift and friendly as the women who handled our rental spoke good English and was kind enough to draw a legend on a map for us to guide us around. There is signage all over the island, but her map definitely helped make things that more easy. Also, upon return, my girlfriend cut her hand pretty bad on something and she was kind enough to provide a first aid kit for her.
As far as the cart, we had no problems whatsoever with it as I see some of the other reviews have stated. Be advise though that the carts don't really have power steering so tight turns can be a bit tough. I did put my Security Deposit on my Debit Card as opposed to my Credit Card and it took a week exactly for my funds to be re-released, but I think that had more to do with me being out of the country and using a Debit Card instead of a Credit Card than the Cap Theo themselves.
Overall, I would definitely recommend and use their services again whenever I'm back in Les Saintes as the Cart afforded us the ability to move around freely and not be up against time if we had attempted to walk the island.
