We did the one day Moreton island tour with Dave and had a blast. Dave ensured we were informed and kept the energy up all day long. Everything was organised and professional. The island itself was a dream and definitely worth a visit. Snorkelling amongst the wrecks and going sand boarding was also awesome. But we would like to acknowledge Dave as he made the tour. A true knowledgable guide with genuine enthusiasm for his job!

A mysterious door appeared in one of Scarborough Beach’s beautiful Norfolk Pine trees — not far from Middle Earth apparently - and local legend has it that Gollum, of Lord of the Rings fame, is residing inside! He has even been known to speak to those who read the plaque (if they are the "chosen one"). A little bit of magic in a world that's sometimes not so magical.

Gollum awaits! This is just a bit of whimsy. Not worth travelling to see on it’s own.... but why not enjoy everything Scarborough has to offer and stop at this tree.... if you don’t enjoy yourself somewhere amongst the cafes, tree lined walks, parks or stunning vista... you might want to check your pulse or find better company!!
Oh, and don’t forget to wiggle your bum!

Definitely not located in Scarborough is this rugged national park. Not a place you would go out of your way too visit but worth a stop if nearby. Access is easy as you just turn off Gregory Hwy and park in car park. You than can walk on circular circuit and check out wildflowers in spring.
