They have a lot of good events here, everything from concerts to horse events. The bleacher seating is a pain in the back, literally. I went to a concert there ended up having to leave early because I can't sit that long in that type of seating. I haven't been to any events since then because of the seating.

We thoroughly enjoyed the eleven mile scenic drive. We got to see Grace's Falls and the main waterfalls. The canyon views were absolutely incredible. The bathrooms were messy but they are state park toilets. The visitor center bathrooms were incredibly clean. There is a nice gift shop inside the visitor center. The staff is very informative and friendly!

Beautiful wooded mountains with river running throughout. We rented a log cabin for 4 adults, two teen girls. Great set up with stone, wood burning fireplace, kitchen, moderately stocked with cooking implements and dishes. Central heat and air, two rooms with another pull-out couch. Near many trails, falls and outdoor activities. Fairly low cost for everything. TVs in living room and both bedrooms (cable) but we never actually turned them on. It snowed !

the building is old and rustic but it is not filled with antiques. it's mostly just older, seemingly garage sale throwaways with a few items that may be considered antique however they are asking an exorbitant amount for very well used items. individual seller'cubby areas' with items not well placed for optimal sale viewing. definitely not reminiscent of a true antique shop.

As others have mentioned, the architecture of this building is gorgeous. The interior of the building is also beautiful. You won't spend a ton of time in it, but the collection of material is interesting; and I would imagine if you knew the families involved, you would find it even more special. They have a lovely collection of Native American baskets and other items that is diverse in its geographical span. The staff was lovely and welcoming.

I am an Alabama fan and have been waiting to see this for a long time. Finally got to go and was disappointed. The outside looks wonderful but once you go inside it is a different story. There is an admission but the lady said they were not charging it now. This should have been a clue!. Inside was dark and alittle smelly. All the cases looked dirty and not well lit. There was a nice video with singing etc in one part of the museum which was nice. Not very much to look at. It did look like several items were missing in the cases as the signs were there but not the pieces. There is a gift shop on one side.

After visiting the Depot museum, we wandered over to the playground at the Alabama Walking Park. They had some really fun playground equipment that involved spinning until you are really dizzy. (Mommy and Daddy took a turn as well.) The kids had a ball. My favorite part was that on a cold day, the bathrooms had heat. I was thrilled at that. There were also some musical instruments to play, which was sweet.
