We spent an action packed March weekend in Monte Vista enjoying all the activities hosted by the 40th Annual Monte Vista Sandhill Crane Festival. We loved every second and thank all those involved. I’ve been going for years and loved the cranes then and love the cranes now. The festival weekend makes for lots of interesting things to do. If you want solitude go another week in March. The birds are there all month!
