Sandy, gently shelving & peaceful. Great choice of tavernas at back of beach. NOT a place for Water Sports. Lovely sunsets from here

We visited this Water Park whilst on holiday in Kos.
We booked through our tour operator and got transported to and from the hotel by coach at 10.55 and got picked up at 1630 which we found that we could have stayed a little longer.
Please don't be an idiot and take food and drink in with you. Yes water is taken off you but we got a bottle each through by wrapping it up in towels. The food and drink prices are wide and varied and probably on par with McDonalds prices but are cooked fresh and serve pizzas, sandwiches and kebab meat with pitta so no complaints about being ripped off.
Lockers are chargeable like other Water Parks in Europe but I would rather have the security that money is safe for 3 Euros.
It is no Siam Park so adrenaline junkies don't waste your money as it just offers a fun day for all the family and a change of scenery from the pool or the beach for some water fun.
We would definitely return if visiting Kos again :)

They have build up some new houses and say its like how it was before but its not like trustful all over so its more like some theatre curlicues. They have placed herb-plants in the garden and a note what its good for what can be fine, but its not really worth a visit you pay for. Sorry for saying this.

Mastichari is a lovely little vilage in Kos , it's now a tourist destination with nice hotels,
it was a fishing village; it has a small port, with tavernas, cafes and restaurants; fishermen delivering to the local restaurants the freshest daily catch:
Mastichari offers also daily ferry boats to visit the neighboring island Kalimnos; it's only a 30 minutes trip; Mastichari has nice Beaches with white sand and very clear water; trees at the beach spend also shade if you prefer it.

nice spot, at walking distance of hotel Hotel Beach. Very good hotel. Equiped for windsurfing, kite. North kite. Storage is possible, but no lockers.Thank you for your nice review and the tip with the lockers. Summer has just started again,and our storages have all lockers now. Have a fab summer 2016! ;-)

I hold classes on the beach at my wooden shaded center with beautiful views to the ocean, and SUP Yoga classes on the water! We will stretch our bodies to release tension and build strength, leaving us feeling balanced and calm. Focusing on our breath and being aware of the sensations in our body will keep us in the present moment, where we can truly appreciate ourselves and our amazing surroundings.

Pia's shop is approx 20 metres up the main road from the harbour and Nostos Taverna, her brightly painted shop is full of treasures.
Pia sells beautiful fine silver from Athens, ceramics from Crete and a large variety of painted pottery.
Most of the shops wares are from Athens and the Greek Islands, with a few international pieces.
You'll find something beautiful to take home in your suitcase for a gift, or a treasure to remind you of your visit to Mastichari with fond memories.
