Sehr schöne Saunen, vor allem die mit Holzfeuer, schönes und authentisches Ambiente, gutes Essen in der Gastronomie und keine völlig überzogenen Preise.
Wirklich ein Highlight in der Region - nur zu empfehlen.

Terrific museum, knights and armor, ancient weapons... a dungeon, a 500 foot well... fascinating place to visit! This castle is also the world's oldest Youth Hostel! (still in operation!) New tram brings you from the quaint village nestled on the banks of a river up the hill to view this medieval treasure.

Es ist wunderbar. Im Sommer das beste Freibad, das ich kenne. Man hat viele Möglichkeiten (Rutsche, Sprungbretter, Kletterwand, Beach-Volleyball Feld, etc.). Ausserdem ist der Imbiss sehr gut. Preislich übrigens auch günstig. Für jeden, also Kleinkinder, Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene absolut zu empfehlen!

Das erste Science-Center von Nordrhein-Westfalen! Mit Experimenten zum Mitmachen werden Physik und Technik für jeden zum Erlebnis. The science center is quite interesting for children, but I expected more difficult experiments (also for grown ups) as well as a more detailed description of them. I spent about 3 hours in this place, cannot say it was a waste of time, but I found it more appropriate for children.

This was an interesting place to visit on our industrial archeology explorations, but having been there, I would only suggest you visit if it isn't too much trouble. It is uphill on a narrow road up to the castle. Parking will be quite a challenge, but so will walking. There are some hands on activities, lots of items made of and with wire, a couple of videos in German, and some displays of wire making tools.

Die Lüdenscheider Bücherei ist eine sehr gelungene
Kombination aus altem Gebäude und neuem modernem Innenausbau.
Schmuckstück ist dabei die Glasdachkonstruktion.
Fotografieren ist erlaubt, Besichtigung zu den Öffnungszeiten der Bibliothek.
In unmittelbarer Nähe liegen die Fachwerkhäuser der Oberstadt, 2 Cafes und die Erlöserkirche
