The Theatre has a great cabaret style seating up front with rows on the back a good size balcony. Great sound and some great performances. The village Pub opens up to the theatre so it a a great stop before or after for drinks and/or food.

Visited here yesterday and 3 Vines is very nice! Small but lovely tasting room and very good wines. The scenery is beautiful and you're encouraged to hang out and enjoy it. A cute and friendly cat hangs around too! Oh and they serve the BEST sangria! Highly recommend and only a few miles outside downtown Lexington.

Lexington State Harbor

Stayed one night here to test out the spot and see how this marina operates. For a government owned harbor it is pretty well kept and very well staffed. The staff are attentive, helpful, and polite at all times (this is no surprise due to the labor pool of good local youth working here). Electical/water at every slip and the showers/restrooms were freshly cleaned when I used them. Fuel cost was about $.40 more a gallon than at our home marina - so it may be worth pricing out the fuel dock at the adjacent private marina next door (I didn't have time as I was trying to outrun a storm getting out onto the lake.

We enjoyed the beer and the food was excellent. You need to order at the bar. No worries, staff is very friendly and efficient. We purchased a bottle of the Gold Metal winning Gruner Veltliner which was really nice with a chicken dinner we fixed later. Love the décor in the refinished fire house. We will definitely return.

We played most of the South Course before the rains came. Fairways are generous on the front nine and get a touch hilly and narrow on the back nine. Greens are in pristine condition and roll nicely.
Now, about that sandwich, do not under any circumstance get a sandwich from the snack bar by the clubhouse. Dreadful is an understatement. I took one bite and spit it out! (I wrapped the remainder back up and left it with the poor girl who manned the snack bar.) No refund, no apology and no return visit for this guy!

Lexington Charter Boat

Reviewed By Spisak - Novi, Michigan

What a great experience we had with Lexington Charter Boat in Lexington! My friend and I culminated our girl's weekend with a kayak ride. The rental is located right on the water in front of the Windjammer restaurant. Cole from LCB was fantastic! He was fun, informative and patient with us. They are very safety oriented and after filling out numerous forms did a thorough out of the water demonstration. We are active women of a certain age who had kayaked before, but Cole and his co workers were very helpful. The water that morning was picture perfect and calm. They even took pictures and videos for us to remember our visit. We plan to kayak again with Lexington Charter Boat when we visit and hope we have employees like Cole there to help us!
